One of my earliest memories when I was like four or five was going along early in the morning with my grandfather and he would go make rounds in the farrowing barn first thing and every now and then a piglet would be dead from getting rolled over on, and he would just stick them with a pitchfork to get them out of the stall. Idk why I always remember that lol. He would let us shoot the .22 very young and one day when I was like seven I actually hit a squirrel and then he made us help skin and clean it and sent it home with me in a brown paper bag in case my mom wanted to cook it.
