What's left of the middle class are still pretending like america is the top dog on the world stage. They still have no idea the kind of society china has made for itself. They do not acknowledge that we are very behind in terms of infrastructure and technology, ev adoption is one of many examples. The iran conflict has effectively been lost, yet they will gladly fill up the tank of their large pick up trucks and suvs to go get groceries that have also increased dramatically in price without a second thought. They ignore the dire situation their children face in a job market that has nothing but low paying menial labor jobs that get 1000 applications and housing/rent is unaffordable. I'm tired of hearing about protecting the middle class because they are actively killing themselves by being stupid.
