Tesla would not even exist if Trump was not protecting it with anti-consumer protectionism.

Cybertrucks are everywhere now, turn on a dime, and are safer for the inhabitants, than anyone outside it, thus making roads safer as people drive more carefully to avoid getting killed by them.
Suck it, fag.

You wouldn’t be allowed to use this shit on roadways, use some common sense. No one would insure this stuff either, plus there is almost never any functional purpose for this on American roadways
>>
>>544686238
Its cold gas thrusters from a company that has experience with them.
It is also an independent system (shouldn't prevent you from using the car if it breaks outside of germany for legal reasons).
It is not (((overly complicated))) for a supercar.

Making a car in that price range is also nothing special.
Althiugh I would have preferred something at a 5th the price.

Unfortunate the road version gets cucked, but expected.

It's phony innovation.

Ok, we all know it cannot fly for long. But the demo shared that this is basically the greatest safety advancement in a decade. Drive off a bridge, you’re fine. Flip the car in an accident? You’re fine. The car can avoid and recover from previously unrecoverable accidents. That’s cool. It’s also the first so this is the infancy of the tech. Combine it with all the advanced auto driving abilities and it will eventually be another tool the computer can use to completely avoid accidents or auto correct from them. It’s pretty amazing. About 40,000 Americans a year die on the roads. It’s bad. Even more are maimed and the damages are a huge burden on society. It is the most common cause of disabilities.

Auto breaking helped but not enough. We flooded the US with immigrants that cannot drive and that outweighed the positive. We need a lot more good to undo the bad. Self driving cars that have new capabilities to avoid and reduce the severity of accidents is a really big deal. Imagine if all you had to do was go to an air compressor rather than go to a body shop.

It’s expensive because it is the first but as this matures it might really be onto something. Let’s not bash innovation.

do you think the car he launched into space was real too?

Lol why are you mad when you can't afford it anyways?

At this point it is mostly software problems nobody asked for, and weather issues, you could include battery degradation and the pain the ass that it is to change it, also, being Tesla, the exclusivity of the reparations and stuff like that, as for to charge it, China is investing in 1.5MW chargers, yw.
>>
>>544686238
there's not many companies actually pushing the next wave of innovation, the technology is interesting. you're just a sad manchild and you will never have the opportunity to use this machinery.
>>
>>544687042
Very 2008 of you
>>
>>544687225
Dont get up your ass. The car has to be rendered basically useless as a car to accommodate the lift off thrusters.

How many 350 thousand dollar cars do you own?
>>
>>544686238
Tesla is a memestock company. Their products are shit their only purpose is to make more green candles but it doesn't even worm anymore since tesla is massively overpriced
>>
>>544686943
wait this is not a joke? why would you build thrusters into a super car? what am i missing here? you just add a shit ton of weight to your car, whats the point? just get some nitro injector or whatever if you need speed boost

obviously no one is going to fly anywhere. i have enough experience maneuvering vehicles in air to tell you it can not happen
>>
>>544687042
Go innovate instead of bitching then.
The level of faggotry you guys have can only be explained by the mental illness that is TDS.

>>
>>544686238
it's certainly an interesting tech, but obviously is dramatically far away from mattering in any real sense for basically all consumers. Frankly there are more exciting developments being made with VTOL rotor vehicles for consumers for everyone who is itching for the flying car future
>>
>>544688104
Apparently not because everyone is talking about this and not whatever ancient link you'd have to dig up to source yourself.
>>
>>544688213
ancient link? wtf are you talking about? also why would I care about the hype being fomented by bots, marketing people, and a bunch of internet heads who will never purchase a vehicle like this?

You know what people love about electric cars? Having a ton of extremely flammable batteries on board that can burn for hours.
Let's add a tank at at least 5000 PSI somewhere on board too for extra safety

Speed boost for accelerating.
Also for lifting off the ground.
Also for downforce.

Not practical, but no supercar is.
It is a demonstration of technology (ultimately most supercars are this).

They imagine it's a white family of 4 getting roasted and that's a good thing a car like this can kill white people more efficiently than a standard car
