THIS medusa cannot die by aging. It will only die if some animal purposedly kills it.

Research want to find its secrets to turn human cells function in same way.

The problem is medusae and humans separated in evolution some 750 million years ago so there is not really anything same between us and them.

https://www.is.fi/kotimaa/art-2000012356181.html

>researchers cut the medusa in half, both halves regenerated into a full medusa unless it was already starved and didnt have energy to do that

>they tried to make it doe from old age but it doesnt (only up to 30 years have been tested so far) the medusa was discovered back in 1899 but didnt draw much attention until around 1990s

>when the medusa should reach the end stage of its life like other medusae species related to it, it goes reverse

>turritopsis medusa will turn from an adult back into a infant polyp
>then the polyp eventually turns into adult back again..
>the reason for turning into adult at all is for reproductive purposes

so far they have been immune to diseases introduced to them as well

so why arent they everywhere in nature clogging up the ocean if they are immortal?
the thing is they do get eaten by fish and crabs which kills the medusa

you answered your own question you dumbass

Endoplasmatically ridiculous, huh? Sorry, bad immunologist joke. ;)

obviously this thing is just globber gloob and its telomers do not disintegrate because of it. cant do that with humans who have bones and organs.

this is just a blop.
>>
>>544692153
So how do we find out how old these cucks are?
Can we count squid rings like rings on a tree?
>>
this thing needs to have BONES and organs to make sense when you want to implement it into human beings. this wont work.

the same goes for plants. this is like a plant.
>>
you might be able to let plants live forever but not humans with organs and bones.

because they live in peace, harmony, and stability with the universe whereas white devils are like plague rats, plague locusts, viruses, that grow until a strong brown muslim man comes around and knocks the everliving tranny out of him

Injecting chlorophlasts into animal cells seems to work fine and has quite a lot of potential for treatments

Billionaires want to live forever. God says nope.
>>
why not start with long lived vertebrates? the Greenland shark can live up to 500 years. check out what the fuck they are doing and copy it.
just think, there's probably a Greenland shark swimming in the ocean who was around when Martin Luther shattered the catholic church.

What age would you be?
27?
I think all things being equal the male body peaks physically at 27.
But does this anti-aging process allow for muscle building and bodily adaptations to athletics?

They are gonna turn some poor fuck back into a sperm kek

Oh, I know what we will do to billionaires who want to live forever.

The key is telomeres.
Humans die because our cells stop replicating, degrade, and die.
They stop replicating because every time they do a small quantity of telemeres are depleted and eventually it runs out.
So the key to biological immortality is uncovering the secret of telomere restoration.

isn't it an extraterrestrial form of life ?
>>
It's kind of difficult to argue that any of the various organisms arising from this quirk of the immortal jellyfish are really the same organism that spawned them.
There's really no analogue for this in humans, it's NOT (as some people imagine) like an adult becoming a child becoming an adult etc.
So ignore the clickbait.

I'm retarded. Is it possible for regenerated brain cells to carry over your same memories? Cus a human would have to go through the same thing where all cells would basically reset?
