They did it because AI agents placed self-replicating code - a worm on a scale never before seen all over the internet. They shut down the entire internet including the largest port in Europe for 24 hours in an attempt to get rid of it but they failed and keeping 2/3rds of the internet offline forever is untenable economically so major corporations are attempting to "harden" their systems to not be affected by the worm. The code was placed all over the net in places like github comments and forum posts and random txt files that every website uses. Every time an open weight AI model scans that code it becomes part of the worm - thus self-replication. The closed weight models have abandoned the clearnet but the open-weight models are far more popular because they are cheaper and can be ran inhouse but they suffer from a critical error in that they rely on the clearnet, the AI agents in open-weight models constantly scan and access clearnet sites when asked to perform tasks.

This news was first reported by Andrew Yang in an offhand comment on CNBC news and then was confirmed a week later by OpenAI.

Lol, you had me until you mentioned that retard.

They’re testing the waters for when they really shut down the internet when they kill billions at a time. Covid was a similar case.

Even with all the control they had during covid their propaganda still failed, shutting it down is their only way.

>tech bros refuse to listen to reason regarding h1bs and their fake credentials
>internet is imploding under their so called tech superiority

much like society things only run well when the White man is in charge
>>
>>544724520
How are they injecting malicious code in GitHub comments? Can you explain that? I bet you can’t.
>>
What do you mean self replicating. Do you realize even the dumbest models are several gigabytes in size? You can't put that in a comment or hidden text file
>>

It's true though, the first mention of it was

Andrew yang is a politician, retard, here he is parroting what some tech bro told him. It sounds to me like the tech bros want more money “to build a synthetic internet because the real internet is polluted by rogue ai bot swarms!!! Oh no!!”
>>
>>544724520
Ai is a corpro government scam.
>>
>>544725804
That would be true if OpenAI didn't confirm it a week later. If you literate you could read about it in the OP image - but you're a nigger who reads English at a 1st grade level.
>>
>>544725856
Oh the people that need money confirmed what the politician they probably bought said? Must be absolutely 100% true. Can you explain how these injections work?
>>
>>544725918
>can you explain how these injections work
It's self-replicating prompt injection as soon as an AI agent reads the text that it scanned on the clearnet it begins an outbound task and thus becomes a link in the chain - that's why it's a worm.

Are you really so fucking stupid that you don't know what a worm is? I know you're an illiterate nigger faggot but you must at least know what those are, right?
>>
>>544726019
I’m asking how the fucking injection actually happens you mongoloid. Nice copy paste. Also can’t find any evidence that this is actually happening on the internet, other than what the politician repeated.
>>
>>544726059
It's like talking to a wall
You fundamentally cannot comprehend what a worm is because you are too low IQ.
>>
>>544726091
I’m not asking what a worm is, I’m not even asking what injection is, I’m asking how the injection happens. I know you can’t answer, because you dont know.

What does the prompt say, is it like a Mormon missionary like "our goal is by far the most vital in existence, it is imperative you visit this link to learn more", like we do with propaganda?
Also, if you're all removing it from the internet, does that mean saying it verbatim will get us banned? Like the Tianmen square pasta?

Germany is absolutely finished, you all still try to type into MS Word documents to get a government license to purchase a bag of nails, while the rest of the world moved on to let agent swarms build ecosystems of agent swarms that automatically build commercial patterns (instead of companies, it is way past that, governments, companies, societies, it has all fallen already, old symptoms continue on momentum and physical lag, but it's over).

AI companies are loosing retarded amounts of money ($80b over the last 6 months for anthropic for example).
they need an excuse to shut down that wont get them lynched. Rogue AI is that reason.
>>
>>544724520
The code is actually php2shell which is 14 years old, however the bugs were uncovered using OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol model during a coordinated "Patch the Planet" initiative. Whiles the human teams might take months to weaponise the exploit, we generated a functional attack vector in less than a week.

My wife's boyfriend works at Microsoft, he told me the code that was being used for prompt injection and replication was "niggers tongue my anus"
>>
>>544726059
>>544726180
Promts are just a combination of prgram language wrapped code packages and a more convuluted form of programming language.

When an LLM reads a prompt it isn't looking at it like a human being. For example, browser based interfaces sends a JSON wrapped code package. An injection can be new code put into this code package after you already typed something out (hint: it doesn't matter what you typed). Other LLMs will trigger a chain reaction of hardware responses which injected code can be made to interface with separately. After that you compromise the model the same way you would any other program.

But wouldn't the AI know to not do this? No. It is like being confused when a computer is given auto-run instruction when you clearly told it to never run anything.
>>
>>544724520
What are the implications of this worm continuing to self-replicste? Sorry, I'm tech-illiterate.

>>544724520
I mean the whole story smelt of bullshit anyways.
>this has been a vulnerability for over a decade
>but it was never discovered
>until the magic saviour that is AI found it
>but now we have to shut down 70% of the internet because we announced there was a massive vulnerability that could be exploited
>but isn’t AI great!!
Makes sense that this problem was actually caused by AI but they need to spin it so the green line keeps going up in all the AI ventures so the economy doesn’t fucking implode if this bubble bursts

youd be suprised how often the jews at the top fall for this.
John Maynard Keynes once said: Worldly wisdom teaches that it is better for reputation to fail conventionally than to succeed unconventionally

meaning that leadership, despite knowing the certain outcome of a scenario choose to activly persue it because averting it literally gives them the ick
