That's bullshit, because in actual fact the territories occupied by those tribes are just little specks on that map. They had roaming area in those various ranges, but they didn't have the concept of land ownership beyond basic territorial behavior, they had no borders and everything was flexible and determined by might-makes-right. Given that that was the case when they dealt with one another, they shouldn't get so butthurt about the fact that might made right when Europeans settled the continent, especially because we didn't "take their land" we settled in other places around them, they clashed with us, we had various wars that concluded with various treaties, and yes those treaties have not been heavily respected and yes the rights of indigenous peoples have been encroached upon again and again, but these people weren't just innocent "noble savages" and we do not have "noblesse oblige" to give them everything we in materiel and the concepts and rights of modern governance to project backwards onto the past that they were some kind of unified people or kingdoms that have established land rights and land claims to this huge swaths of land. They DO have land rights and land claims, but they did not legitimately occupy these lands like that map depicts. The ridiculous historical revisionism of the left is just the demonization of western culture and civilization, we did plenty of good for those people as well as all the bad, and the terrible shape they are in today is not primarily because we herded them into reservations but because they couldn't cope with modern innovation and civilized ways of life. They can still live like they used to, but they resent us for being here and also have sour grapes about how they don't have everything we have, even though we have given them wealth and technology and medicine and all kinds of things. They were mistreated in many ways but not every single way, and people must use reason and logic in analyzing this history.
