And to retaliate, they do not hesitate from conducting organized islamic terror attacks such as bombings, beheadings, mass executions, and public shootings & machete attacks.Whereas you could easily burn a Jewish torah or talmud in public, make antisemitic videos and comments on normie social media (just take a look at X and Youtube) and not be banned for it, blatantly call for the killing of Jews on American university campuses (just look at last years' and this years' liberal university campus protests), yet, face no repercussions at all, except for a slight tap on the wrist, continue your academic and professional life normally.Unless Islam becomes more liberal, tolerant, and peaceful, it will continue to get hate and it's butt kicked by all major superpowers.Time to discuss an islamic Renaissance or a Reformation.

When Christianity began the Protestant Reformation it triggered centuries of religious violence and major wars and the only reason reform was possible was because of the tension between how Christians interpreted the role of the Pope as Christ's successor vs the Bible as Christ's teachings, which was genuinely unclear and left room for contention. There's a necessary tension in the Pope's role because Christ is uniquely the son of God while the Pope is merely his vicar on Earth, so whether the Pope's words can supersede the words of the Bible is up for debate, which is what allows for all of these various interpretations and sects that can change to meet changing social standards Islam doesn't have something like that. Its sects split basically on which lineage of successors to Muhammad they consider to be legitimate and the whole power structure is rigidly bound to the medieval politics of the 7th century. There's no room to say "the Quran says behead nonbelievers but this was just a metaphor and we don't do that anymore" or "the Quran says to enslave kafr and force them to pay Jizya but my voice supercedes the authority of the Quran and I say Allah doesn't want us to do that anymore"Moderate Muslims in the west essentially pick and choose which parts of their doctrine to follow but even they struggle with tensions between where to draw the line and at what point being a good person means being a bad Muslim and going to hell. It's not an easy question to reconcile and the religion doesn't have built mechanisms for religious reform or reinterpretation. And even if you found an adequate loophole, you'd inevitable trigger horrific sectarian violence before it propagated.
