Wikipedia is correct. The carinvore thing was just people who want to eat meat but can't into science making shit up to fool themselves into thinking it's good for them.

Trans fats are probably bad. Saturated fats aren't as bad as once believed, but seed oils are beneficial. Perhaps overcooking seed oils is bad but the oils themselves are fine. Perhaps reusing them for weeks in a deep fryer is bad but don't eat fast food and you're fine. Just fry stuff at home.

Old people here easily live to their 80s and 90s. Our life expectancy is way above many mainly butter based countries. We are one of the biggest consumers of sneed oils in the planet (sunflower and olive oil)

• Step 1: Dietary Influx: Modern refining increases linoleic acid (LA) intake from ~2% historically to 6-10%+ of daily calories.
• Step 2: Particle Oxidation: LA incorporates into LDL particles. Because it is highly polyunsaturated, it oxidizes easily in the bloodstream, forming OXLAMs (Oxidized Linoleic Acid Metabolites).
• Step 3: Endothelial Infiltration: Oxidized LDL penetrates the delicate arterial wall (the endothelium).
• Step 4: Immune Response: Macrophages consume the oxidized particles, ballooning into immobile foam cells.
• Step 5: Plaque Build-Up: Dead foam cells accumulate, forming a necrotic lipid core and driving localized arterial inflammation.

>>544751348
Yeah it's funny when people think a certain fat is bad then logically a different type must be good, it has to be a dichotomy with them
>>
i already eat a lot of animal fat whenever i eat meat so i think it's okay to balance it out with vegetable oils. as long as they're not toxic it's good to eat a bit of everything.
>>
>>544752574
all food is good. the problem is people eat too much of it, or sometimes too little of it (lack of variety) and they get problems.
>>
>>544752751
In the United States we have 10,000 ingredients in our food supply.

In comparison to the EU which has 400 ingredients in their food supply.

Ultimately it’s the same offering of food however the US system is highly processed modified and subjected to additives. So not all food is healthy.
>>
>>544752751
That's a nice thought but simple assumptions like that can badly hurt or kill you. Anything too processed or deep fried, anything with too much sugar harms you. I'm pretty bad for it, I eat chocolate etc but I know it's bad
>>
>>544752875
The biggest problem with seed oils is restaurants that deep fry and constantly reuse them which create horrible oxidation profiles and become extremely carcinogenic and toxic.

If restaurants use single-serving seed oils to fry, meaning each fried dish with uniquely fried and oil then it wouldn’t be as bad. Additionally you can’t take home leftovers and reheat them in the microwave.

This is why animal fats with their single bonds are overwhelmingly better for fraud food.
>>
>>544752564
>from ~2% historically to 6-10%+ of daily calories
the problem that "daily calories" is now way more than you should be gonsuming
if you simply didn't eat that 4-8%+ extra you are eating in 2026 compared to the middle ages then you wouldn't have a foam party in your bloodstream
>>
>>544752816
Euros are only like that because they get severe social shame if they eat something different to the old ladies of the village their parents were born in.

I'd say California has the strictest food safety laws, even if it is just disclosure. I see those "residents of California" warnings all the time and if it wasn't for that nobody would know

>>
>>544752816
>10,000 ingredients ... 400 ingredients
that sounds like absolute nonsense
>subjected to additives
some things like food colouring or preservatives sound nasty, but they're such small quantities that i don't think it matters in the big scheme of things. for example fish has highly toxic heavy metals but you're still better off if you eat fish than if you don't. you will only have problems due to additives/heavy metals if you decide to follow the "tuna can diet" or the "apple juice diet" or some other bullshit diet like that.
>>
>>544752986
No the problem is they’ve substituted these oils into everything so now people are actually closer to 20% of their daily calories from these types of synthetic fats
>>
>>544752986

>RFK Jr.'s point regarding systemic regulatory differences is true. The U.S. relies heavily on industry self-policing via the GRAS system, whereas the EU acts with much greater regulatory restriction, forcing food companies to clean up their ingredient lists for European consumers.

i don't believe deep fried food or sugars can kill you as long as they're part of a balanced diet. of course if you exclusively eat KFC buckets you will see some problems after a few months/years and maybe it will kill you but one KFC bucket every week should be fine.

>>
>>544753163
No it’s because chemical companies and food companies figured out in the United States they can use the GRAS FDA system to sneak in industrial waste streams into food instead of disposing of them. The next time you see fat Americans walking around realize that they’re walking fat industrialized waste storage containers masquerading as people. This keeps food inflation down and saves these companies trillions of dollars and not having to properly dispose of this industrial waste.

In the Anglo world it's still possible to find beef tallow fried chips, probably the same in USA although ironically their beef fat is closer to sneed oil because of the feed the cattle are exposed to
>>
>>544753385
this usually happens because you're fat, which is caused by eating too much food, not by food itself being bad. look at a burger and tell me what's toxic about it. nothing. every ingredient is healthy? it's just that the texture, and the specific combination of flavors high in sugars, simple carbs and fats allows you to eat 2000kcal of them in a sitting and still not feel full. which means that people who rely on burgers to feed themselves tend to be fat.

>>544753311
They can still dispose it but this way when it leeches into the food chain people don't care because it's a good product anyway. Similar theory to fluoride, that's an industrial waste but normies don't care if it's leaking into a river from a factory because fluoride is basically a nutrient to them

linseed oil has historically been and still is being used for its extreme propensity for polymerization as rust inhibitor and base oil for coatings and paint. in fact it can polymerize so quickly that a cloth lightly soaked in it and put into the sun with no air circulation it'll start to burn all by itself.

you do NOT want these chemical processes happening in your body and linseed oil is just the most extreme example.

Wikipedia isn't what it used to be. If you want to see how bad it's gotten, compare archived wikipedia pages from about 2012 or earlier to the current ones. This is a good article on how wikipedia's neutral pov policy has changed over the years. It includes examples such as the seed oil misinformation page. I recommend reading the entire article, not just the seed oils section.

The 2024 review cited seven times in two paragraphs of this not-at-all-suspiciously polished Wikipedia article was funded by basedbean, corn and canola industry organizations and coordinated by the Onions Nutrition Institute.

Another cited study received funding from Unilever.

Meanwhile, the United Basedbean Board openly describes funding and promoting favorable seed-oil research, securing media coverage, and working to „reclaim the narrative“.

Thank u, LLMs. Following the money through the Wikipedia footnotes has gotten a lot easier.

Sometimes it’s hard for me to reconcile that elections or anything but subverted in the US. It’s not that systems are outright fake. It’s that through time they become compromised integrated and small parts of the whole become vulnerable to manipulation by non-elected groups. Normally all that’s required to make massive systemic changes throughout the entire system over large periods of time controlling single digit percentages of election outcomes. I can’t help but to think about the problems with feudalism for those that control everything. Everyone knows who the king or the Lord is for the region. Democracy fixes that problem and obfuscates who’s in control and provides the perfect excuse for blaming the people for voting incorrectly. Hard to swallow.

That type of cooperation has been unheard of in the past. It was World War II like cooperation.

We’re supposed to believe that our history is some chaotic random RnG spawn of human evolution but homo sapiens have been around from a 300,000 years and we have less than 3% of our written history.

No they actually work on the same neural receptors as highly addictive drugs. See picrel and quoted explanation below.
>The provided visual illustrates how industrial seed oils when combined with sugar and salt to create engineered "bliss point" foods hijack the brain's primary reward and appetite pathways by targeting the exact same neurochemical receptors as highly addictive drugs. First, this hyper-palatable matrix floods the nucleus accumbens with dopamine in a manner identical to cocaine or nicotine, leading to receptor downregulation and intense, anxious cravings when stopped. Second, the excess linoleic acid breaks down into endocannabinoids that lock directly into the brain's CB1 receptors, mimicking the exact mechanism by which THC/cannabis artificially drives continuous appetite stimulation. Ultimately, quitting seed oils triggers genuine physical and psychological withdrawal because you are abruptly cutting off a steady supply chain to heavily desensitized neural receptors, forcing the brain into a temporary, uncomfortable neurochemical recalibration period that typically lasts about two weeks.

it has to do with how our brain processes rewards for foods. in nature there are no food sources that are both high in sugars and high in fat, so our brain evolved two different reward pathways. when both are fired simultaneosuly (which can't happen in nature), you get a very abnormal, drug-like high. it's how fast food is engineered.

Indicates ultra-processed foods are engineered industrial delivery systems designed to maximize dopamine spikes and bypass natural human satiety loops which is outlining the addictive nature of these types of foods. It’s not just that seed oils are addictive in of themselves which they seem to be, it’s that these ultra processed foods are engineered like cigarettes in the tobacco industry to be highly addictive. I suppose the confusion comes from seed oil in the US is synonymous with food engineering 85% of the products that have fat that are pre-created in supermarket including fresh baked goods or cafeteria style created buffets are loaded with seed oils, sugar, tablesalt(NaCl) and a host of other manufacturing additives and chemical flavoring emulsifier etc. It’s not real food. In order to quit seed oils you basically have to quit all premade foods, and literally cooking and design everything you consume from scratch. You have to understand that our parents were memory wiped over here in the US and very few of them cook from scratch so this was a very difficult change of lifestyle initially. It’s very easy and manageable at this point however I can see how people get trapped thinking convenience food is actually a “convenience”, and not biological colonialism used to harvest their wealth and kill them early in the retire retirement from preventable food based diseases.

Honey is the exception and even though it’s found in nature it’s considered a processed food. Processed by insects, and therefore concentrated and can cause problems and humans if overly consumed. Deliver clears out the fructose and sucrose found in fruit because it’s so minimal compared to anything else found in nature. Finding out about how dangerous the freight trucking industry has become with untrained CDL drivers in the US. Figuring out the monetary policy secretly dictates societal movements like women’s rights, civil rights, gay rights and transgender rights in the US, sort of has me feeling testy and uneasy and untrusting. I guess I’m just being a big baby I suppose and I should take my loosh whips and reincarnation cycles like a man, kek.

Obesity is obviously unhealthy in 99.9% of the cases. It's glut, it's an excess. But that's the thing, making blanket statements like eating 'x' food is bad and will kill you is for brainlets and food companies looking to bring down their competition.

The same idiots going along popular trends like a leaf in the wind dismiss old wisdom that's been proven to work through generations.
Follow your local traditional diet, don't stuff your face and keep an active lifestytle. It's that simple.

It drives me crazy when people say it is this way because it’s always been that way to naturally evolved when the reality is modern humans have been around in our current form for hundreds of thousands of years upwards of 300,000 years and written histories less than 3% of that so we have no precedent for how things organically evolved. That logic makes me sick to my stomach.

I think that human anatomy and the dynamics of reproduction child rearing family creation community creation generational support structures etc. is an amazing thing but unfortunately in modern society it’s been exploited into a living hell scape. Men and women are very different. Race is real. And a lot of the differences have value between men and women and even race. For example Australian aborigines (I know you’re from New Zealand) have unmatched terrain mapping capabilities where they can track in desert like environment environments or biomes with little or no features. This evolutionary aspect of these people would be great for asteroid pilots. Additionally there’s people that are from the Philippines that have mutated spleen and can hold their breath for shallow fish diving for over 20 minutes as a genetic mutation. That’s incredible. It’s OK to be different. I know this is an obvious truth but so many people today seem to forget reality.
>>
>>544759065
I’m getting there anon. I understand the process and I know it’s very easy however finding high-quality base products is a challenge here. Most of the gear I get is actually imported from Australia or New Zealand specifically. They import the butter and then they clarified here into butterfat.

I think you’re misinformed. Dietary fat is an absolute biological necessity; it forms the physical architecture of every cell membrane and most of the human brain, while acting as the core driver for hormone production and nutrient absorption.

For millions of years, ancestral human diets revolved around nutrient-dense animal fats, wild game, nuts, and seeds, meaning our physiology evolved to expect these stable, single-bonded whole fats as a primary source of clean energy.

Prior to the industrial revolution, humans never consumed heavily processed, chemically extracted oils, making traditional fats the exact fuel source our species has thrived on since the dawn of time.
>The 1980s low-fat craze was a political masterpiece and epidemiological manipulation, driven by Ancel Keys' cherry-picked data and industry-funded Harvard research that falsely demonized stable saturated fats to protect the sugar industry. This political mandate forced food manufacturers to strip out natural fats which are biologically essential for cell membranes, brain structure, hormone production, and vitamin absorption and replace them with an avalanche of refined sugars and high-fructose corn syrup to maintain palatability. By replacing clean, ancestral fats with a hyper-palatable, low-fat carbohydrate matrix, this corporate-sponsored shift effectively brainwashed the public while inadvertently triggering the modern epidemics of obesity, diabetes, and systemic inflammation.

What’s interesting is: how you prepare and the order you eat food is important. So you could have a situation where certain seed oils are consumed in your country where you’re appropriately eating them on cold salads, not reheating or oxidizing them through cultural food behaviors which works out to be perfect. That’s not what we’re seeing in modern industrialized supply chains for fast food, restaurant and processed foods in the US and other parts of the western world that are modernized by an international corporations. We’re seeing inappropriate use leading to toxic outputs destroying people’s health wow in institutional authorities double speak the health benefits without specifying between the differences. It becomes semantic games with health and food supply chains.

The third is the universal problem when people sit all day every day, be it the couch, a car, the office/gaming chair, or whatever else.

40% of the Neanderthal genome lives
collectively between Europeans and East and South Asians genomes and virtually 0% of that Neanderthal genome exists anywhere else (maybe small parts in north east Africa). Humans might be virtually identical from a genetic standpoint however the sequence of genes is the special sauce in race and no one wants to talk about that. Phenotypic differences aren’t simply shallow meaningless things. Race is a combination of different hybrid hominids. Pure homo sapiens are north east Africans. South Africa Africans have Homo habilis ghost lineage. It literally a jungle out there. But why is that bad to acknowledge race?

I'm sorry guy but you're a retard when it comes to reasoning and wits.
Nutrition doesn't work like this at all. Variety in foods usually means vastly different low calorie, high vitamin carbs you pick up as you forage. And that's just an ad hoc theory where the best evidence is the highly diverse gut biom of various tribesmen.
This theory was trashed by carnivores showing you can have a diverse and healthy gut biom just through meat. And you'll never have such amazing bioms like those savage niggers anyway because our food is not varied at all, it doesn't matter how many wholefood markets you sample.
Secondly, we're talking of additives and (micro-dosed) poisons. This is the true diversity today, especially in America.
Third, the poverty of nutrients in goyslop. Will you really argue that five kinds of twinkies are healthier than just eating one brand?

Furthermore
> Cro-Magnons were anatomically modern Homo sapiens whose robust stature and 15% larger brain volume (1,600 cc vs. 1,350 cc today) reflect prime evolutionary conditions rather than a separate species. Fueled by a nutrient-dense, big-game foraging diet, many Cro-Magnon males reached over 6 feet tall, drastically contrasting with 19th-century industrial Europeans whose growth was severely stunted by urban disease and malnutrition. Their larger brain mass scaled with their immense muscularity, but over the last 10,000 years, human brains contracted to save metabolic energy and adapt to communal, "self-domesticated" societal living.

>what is a balanced diet?
a bit of everything, obviously. fish, meat, veggies, beans... but really almost anything fits my definition of balanced, it's really loose. as long as you eat different things every day of the week it should fit my definition of balanced.
>eating the same sandwich every day like some autistic dutchman
NOT balanced
>eating broccoli, rice and chicken every day with perfect macros

>getting 80% of your calories from rice like a chinese peasant
CAN be balanced, as long as you alternate between duck rice, veggie rice, egg rice, tomato beef rice, fish rice, pork rice and dog fried rice every day of the week.

just eat many foods, it's not hard to understand.
