A detailed fiscal report came out for hasbros finances a little while ago and it turns out that the entire company of hasbro outside of wizards is completely underwater and wizards of the coast is making something like 46% operational profit (you put a dollar into wizards you get 1.46 back next year, compiling per year). So hasbro is now even more desperate to tie themselves to their only profitable branch and make it so that WotC continues to keep them alive via 'removing them is more effort than dragging them along'.
