Everything we've seen since 2021 has been the slow adjustment to the new baseline. There is no going back to how it was. The powers that be decided a global response was necessary so it was either going to get paid on the front end with taxes, or the backend with massive moneyprinting. The sums necessary were far too large for anyone to accept as taxes proper on the frontend so we got dollar dilution. It doesn't even matter what team was in power at the time or who voted for what. This was going to happen either way and there is literally nothing anyone could have done about it. We're going to be paying the costs of that catastrophic economic disruption for the rest of most of our lives.
