Ukies are under heavy pressure from the west to bury their dead and fulfill govt obligated payouts if they want gibs.
Puccians are under heavy pressure from their own gobt and military economy to declare MIA's, rather that return anything to avoid paying gibs.
If Ukies suffered 10:1 loss ratio against swarms of ziggers, they wouldn't hold anything on the front.
Consider the drone footage. If Puccia had more footage, they'd post it and gloat about it like maniacs, like they always do. But they don't, for some reason. What could reason be? I think it's 27:1;)))))))))

Russian kindergartens to teach legality of Crimea annexation through games

Russian authorities have developed a set of kindergarten games designed to teach children as young as three that Moscow's 2014 annexation of Crimea from Ukraine was fair and justified, according to official methodological materials reported by The Moscow Times on Oct. 19.
A teaching guide titled "Adventures in Crimea" was published on the website of the state-run Institute for the Study of Childhood, Family and Upbringing as part of the "Good Games" programme, first flagged by the independent news outlet Sota. Good Games is the preschool successor to the "Conversations About Important Things" patriotic classes introduced in Russian schools in 2022, and was rolled out in kindergartens nationwide at the start of the current school year, on Sept. 1, 2026.
In one activity for six- and seven-year-olds called "Bridge of Friendship," children throw a rope across an imaginary sea, then lift it over their heads to represent the bridge linking Russia to Crimea, saying: "Crimea and Russia — a bridge forever!" They then walk along the rope carrying a flag as their classmates applaud, and everyone shouts "Hooray!"
In a matching-pairs memory game, children are told to celebrate each successful find: "Patriotic moment: when someone finds the pair 'Crimean Bridge' or 'flag' — everyone claps and says: 'Hooray! We're together!'"
One card in the set, titled "Crimea Is Russia," concedes that while Russian law treats the peninsula as part of the Russian Federation, "its status is the subject of an international dispute."

Children aged three and four play "The Sun and the Cloud" to feel the joy of the annexation. Under the scenario, the peninsula is sad and alone before joining Russia; the teacher then announces: "But when Crimea and Russia came together — the sun came out." Cheerful music plays, and the children — who have been crouching with their faces covered — stand up, smiling, clapping and spinning around.
In "Train to Crimea," children act out a journey across the Kerch bridge and a return home with the words: "How good it is that we're one country!" In an animal-identification game, they recite: "A dolphin lives in Crimea — this is our Crimea!"
According to the programme's materials, preschoolers from the age of three are to be told about the annexation to shape their view of the peninsula as a "region of Russia," which the authorities expect will evoke "patriotic feelings and pride in their country." The materials also seek to cultivate "heroism," defined as "the highest manifestation of love for the Motherland and for people" and "a readiness to sacrifice oneself for others."
The programme comprises 44 ready-made teaching kits for ages 3–5 and 5–7, developed by the institute with the Education Ministry's backing after President Vladimir Putin endorsed the idea in 2024. It is officially recommendatory for now: Education Minister Sergei Kravtsov has said Good Games will not be mandatory this academic year. The guide schedules the "Adventures in Crimea" lessons around March 18, the date Russia marks as the "reunification" of Crimea with the country.
NK-tier shit, lmao.

They didn't get away with it. They were exposed multiple times. They don't care because the exchange is not the point, the point is to throw away the bodies as MIAs, not-Vanya. But you know that, don't you?
>>
>>544782936
>might be able to pull something like this off in the 1800's, but not today

correct. it's not the 1800s. that's how they got caught

DNA. by june '25 ukraine's MVD had already ID'd at least 20 russian servicemen among the "ukrainian" bodies russia handed over. kyiv has shipped at least three back. zelensky said it out loud: russia's own troops and foreign fighters in the bags

kyiv even set up DNA collection for russian families in the EU through the ICMP, just to put names on the russians moscow dumped on them

the ones that aren't russian come fragmented, one guy's parts split across different bags and different exchange rounds

in the 1800s they'd have gotten away with it. you're citing the exact methodology that busted them kek
>>
>>544782941
Why do they even have rifles? They'll just be blown up anyway. The russians should do it like they did in ww2 when invading finland. 1 rifle for every 5 men.

Russian state TV gave 5 minutes to record drone attack on St. Petersburg, over an hour to French riots

1/2

Russian state television devoted less than five minutes of airtime to the biggest drone attack of the war on St. Petersburg, while giving more than an hour to riots in France, an Oct. 19 analysis by the BBC's Russian service found.
In the 20 news broadcasts aired by Rossiya 1, Channel One and NTV on Sunday, Oct. 18, and until midday Monday, Oct. 19, there was not a single dedicated report on the strike — only brief newsreader announcements of less than a minute. By the morning of Oct. 19, none of the channels mentioned the attack at all.
The attack, overnight into Oct. 18, set the St. Petersburg oil terminal and an Ozon logistics centre ablaze and damaged a VK data centre, according to officials and the companies. Leningrad region Governor Alexander Drozdenko said 145 drones were shot down over the region — the highest figure of the war. Officials said one person was killed and 15 injured across the two regions; fires also broke out at the Ruchyi oil depot and warehouses in the Kolpino district, and strikes on power infrastructure left some 20,000 residents without electricity.
The main Vesti news programme on Rossiya 1 said nothing about the strikes in its Oct. 18 morning and daytime broadcasts, while France featured in all 20 news shows. The attack was first mentioned in the 5 p.m. edition of Vesti — presented as grounds for retaliatory strikes on Ukraine. A half-minute item on the flagship weekly show Vesti Nedeli reported the death and again alleged that drones had flown toward St. Petersburg via the Baltic states. Full reports ran only on the Rossiya 24 news channel and the regional bulletin Vesti. Saint Petersburg.

On the day of the strikes, Rossiya 1 and Rossiya 24 repeatedly aired the same report on protesters "storming the Paris mayor's office," claiming France had "already been on fire for almost a month." The "France in Flames" report on Vesti Nedeli ran nearly seven minutes — longer than all of the three federal channels' St. Petersburg coverage combined.
Channel One gave St. Petersburg only newsreader announcements of under a minute, while its Sunday evening show carried a 9.5-minute report on France. NTV twice opened its Segodnya newscasts with items on the attack, each about a minute long; on its weekly wrap-up Itogi Nedeli, St. Petersburg got half a minute inside a segment on Ukraine, while France received 7.5 minutes.
The French unrest began in mid-September as student protests over school conditions and swelled into nationwide demonstrations against the cost of living that drew around 550,000 people on Oct. 17. Rioters looted shops, burned the historic town hall in Limoges and stormed the city hall in Marseille; more than 1,200 people were arrested over the weekend, and curfews were imposed in parts of Paris.

Foundation run by Putin's daughter joins Russian defence bank in new Africa push

1/2

A foundation run by Vladimir Putin's younger daughter has teamed up with a state bank serving Russia's defence sector to launch a new organisation tasked with promoting Russian technology, education and finance across Africa, part of Moscow's drive to build "long-term ties" and a "network of allies" on the continent.
Innopractika, the development fund headed by Katerina Tikhonova, and Promsviazbank, the bank for Russia's defence industry, announced the creation of the nonprofit organisation "Russia-Africa" at a presentation in Moscow on Oct. 19, according to Interfax.
The organisation will guide joint projects "from market analysis and the search for local partners to pilot implementation and localisation," and will bring together major corporations, high-tech companies, universities and scientific bodies to carry out "practical initiatives" aimed at forging "strong, long-term ties with African customers and the business, scientific and educational community," said Natalia Popova, Innopractika's first deputy general director.
"Russian companies will get a single mechanism for entering African markets, and African partners will get access to Russian technological, educational and financial solutions," Popova said.
Promsviazbank chairman Pyotr Fradkov said African markets were "a promising direction of particular interest to Russian technology companies," with demand for "mature Russian solutions" in areas such as the digitalisation of public administration and healthcare. "In a changing global agenda, deepening ties with Africa is an important step toward building a broader and more sustainable network of technological and economic allies," he said.

The organisation says it will also focus on digital, marine and space technologies as well as food-security projects, creating project consortia, business councils, hubs and financial infrastructure using "the full range of Promsviazbank's financial instruments."
Russia's sway in Africa already extends well beyond technology. Dozens of "Russian Houses," the Kremlin's cultural and diplomatic outposts, operate in 19 African countries including Burkina Faso, Mali, Egypt and the Central African Republic. Igor Chayka, head of the state cultural agency Rossotrudnichestvo, told the same Oct. 19 presentation that his agency's work covers "practically the entire African continent," with nine official offices and 24 partner houses across the region.
In the Central African Republic, that presence includes some 500 fighters of the former Wagner mercenary group. While ex-Wagner operations elsewhere in Africa, including the Sahel, have been folded into the Russian defence ministry's Africa Corps, the Wall Street Journal reported on Oct. 17 that the handover largely failed in the CAR: President Faustin-Archange Touadéra asked Moscow not to replace Wagner fighters with regular Russian troops, and the contingent remains under the control of Yevgeny Prigozhin's son Pavel. The fighters guard Touadéra in exchange for control of gold mines and other business that, according to an estimate by the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime cited by the Journal, earns the family more than $400 million a year.

Ukraine will build a wall along the whole border with Europe and the EU will pay for it. Here's why:
>Democrats and Europe installed their puppet regime in Ukraine.
>The new pocket turned Ukraine into shit.
>Democrats, Europe and their pocket regime failed to defend Ukraine and seemingly they never intended to.
>The puppet regime usurped the power and took Ukrainian rights and freedoms from them.
>Ordinary Ukrainians, the majority, suffer while Jewish Ukrainians profit from the deaths of the Ukrainian goyim and post here their lies all the time.
>Democrats, Europe and their pocket regime used ordinary Ukrainians as meat shield and cannon fodder while skimming the European tax money and getting rich.

Wrong.
>Ukrainians wanted to join EU economic zone to be like Poland.
>EU wanted Ukraine to join so they would gain access to oil, natural gas and minerals.
>Ukranian businessman wanted to profit off such arrangements
>Russia didn't want to lose influence over Ukranian resources and didn't want Ukraine to be competitor with a trade advantage (EU economic zone).
Therefore Putin invaded to setup a puppet government that he controlled. The SMO/SVO has been a failure except that the war is preventing the EU from accessing Ukranian resources.

I dont think natural resources were even that important, just having a 40 milion people country joining the EU market would have been a huge boost in itself. Ukraine has industry, farming, pretty well educated population, its basically Poland but slightly larger and 20 years behind in development, perfect opportunity for mutual economic progress.

Hohol should not be a derogatory term. It should be the official term for the former Ukrainians. The word Ukraine itself implies that this is not a sovereign state but a part of the Russian empire located at the border. The word Ukraine is closer to the word Kiev. Hohol is the national haircut that clearly distinguish a hohol from a Russian and it is closer to Kyiv, the word Hohol ia as nationalistic, trad, based and patriotic as it gets for the former Ukrainians. The new country should be named Hoholine to indicate its sovereignity and uniqeness. The former Ukraine excluding Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhie, Kherson, Odessa and Kharkov should be named Hoholine and optionally should become an autonomous republic of Poland. Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhie, Kherson, Odessa and Kharkov are still Ukrainians, Ukies, meaning Russians living in Okraina.

My man I also work with EU fund here and there. It's a skill issue.
You have specialized agencies now that will pull out money for you for a commission and they're so good at it that you just say what you want and they'll say if it's possible and if it is they'll build paperwork around it.

War is ongoing if you didnt notice, its dumb to focus on what the current number of the population is in October 2026, even assuming the estimates are correct. Parts of their territories are occuppied, plenty of people have fled as refugees etc. With that logic you could say that Poland had zero population in 1940 because we were fully occuppied so its over Germany won.

Europe's message to Putin: freeze the war, or take the rest of the Donbas and let Ukraine into NATO

1/?

European leaders, alarmed by the collapse in relations between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and by Washington's waning support for Kyiv, are moving to open their own channel to the Kremlin on ending the war in Ukraine, the Financial Times wrote in an opinion column published on Oct. 19.
If direct talks happen, Russian President Vladimir Putin could be offered two ways out of the war, the newspaper's chief foreign affairs columnist, Gideon Rachman, wrote. "The first is to freeze the conflict on the current line of control — and in return get a guarantee that Ukraine will never join NATO. The second option would be for Ukraine to cede the rest of the Donbas to Russia — but then to join NATO." Rachman cited no sources, and noted the Kremlin has done nothing to suggest either option would be immediately acceptable.
The diplomacy that followed showed how hard either sale will be. On Oct. 20, Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff met Zelenskiy, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere, Finnish President Alexander Stubb and representatives of Britain, France, Germany, Poland, the EU and NATO in Oslo — talks both sides described as "very productive," with Ukraine bringing "new ideas and proposals". On Oct. 21, Witkoff flew on to St. Petersburg and handed Putin papers he described as "some ideas, some sort of peace deal between Russia and Ukraine".

Putin agreed "in principle" to resume trilateral talks with Ukraine and the United States after Nov. 10, Kremlin foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov said — but he dismissed the European and Ukrainian ideas relayed from Oslo as thin. "There wasn't really much substance in them," Ushakov told reporters. Hours later, ballistic missiles struck Kyiv in an hours-long overnight barrage that, Zelenskiy said on Oct. 22, hit 12 regions, killed at least two people and wounded 34. "This means there has been no real change in its attitude," he said. Putin himself said on Oct. 22 that Russia was ready to discuss the security parameters of a final settlement — not "some kind of short pause in fighting."
The two scenarios take aim at the deadlock U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio described on Oct. 8, when he said the war had reached a "strategic stalemate": Russia demands full control of the Donbas, which Kyiv rejects, and the situation could be broken only by negotiations or by escalation from one or both sides. The Kremlin has long insisted Ukrainian forces must withdraw from all of the Donbas before ceasefire talks can begin — territory Russian troops have failed to take in more than four and a half years of war.
Ukrainian public opinion is hostile to the territorial option. A Kyiv International Institute of Sociology poll conducted Oct. 8-16 and published on Oct. 19 found 61% of Ukrainians consider ceding the entire Donbas in exchange for U.S. and European security guarantees categorically unacceptable; 35% would accept it. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has said Ukraine's capitulation is not an option, as it would amount to "a capitulation of us all". In Washington, Vice President JD Vance has spoken out against Ukrainian membership: "They're not in NATO. I don't think that they should be in NATO."

The FT wrote that Europe views sanctions on Russia and support for Ukraine as critical, especially as U.S. backing for Kyiv weakens — which is why European capitals increasingly see direct involvement in peacemaking as a necessity, now that European money is keeping Ukraine afloat after Washington cut off financial aid. Trump, who waived sweeping U.S. sanctions on Russia's energy revenues on Oct. 16 and agreed to import Russian diesel, said after Witkoff's meeting with Putin that it was "the closest we've been" to ending the war.
"There is a growing consensus in European capitals that the continent's leaders can no longer tolerate a situation where only the Americans are talking to Putin," Rachman wrote. "Channels with the Russians are already open and a call between European leaders and Putin may happen soon."

Trump open to Putin-Xi summit in China, says focus would be nuclear arms — not Ukraine

1/?

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Oct. 19 he is open to a first-ever three-way summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping in China next month, but said the meeting would be about nuclear arms, not the war in Ukraine.
"I would do it, not so much for Ukraine, because Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine. They haven't been doing much. And the same with China," Trump told reporters on the White House South Lawn. "We would have it to talk about nuclear weapons and denuclearization." He added: "If President Xi wants to have it, I'd have it" — calling such a meeting a "very positive thing for the world."
The idea came from Putin. The Wall Street Journal reported late on Oct. 18, citing people familiar with the discussions, that Putin proposed the meeting to Trump in an Oct. 9 phone call — the same conversation that yielded a U.S. deal to buy Russian diesel — suggesting the leaders meet on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Shenzhen on Nov. 18–19. A former Russian intelligence officer cited by the Journal said Putin sees the format as a second Yalta Conference at which the three powers would divide the world into spheres of influence, and hopes to use it to end the war in Ukraine on Moscow's terms — the outcome Kyiv and its European allies fear most.
>>
>>544785499

For now, none of the three governments has confirmed anything. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Oct. 19 the topic of such a "hypothetical" meeting "has indeed been mentioned", but that "no substantive proposals or agreements... have been discussed or put forward by anyone". "There's been talks of a meeting. I don't know whether it's been finalized," U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters during a visit to Uzbekistan. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said she had no information to share, though The Washington Post reported that Chinese officials have asked the U.S. side for information about the meeting plans.
Moscow's language has since firmed up: a possible "first-ever meeting of the leaders of China, Russia and the United States... is being prepared" for inclusion in the APEC programme, Putin's foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov said on Oct. 21 — while giving no agenda. Beijing has signalled through diplomatic channels it would not object to the format if Trump agrees, the Journal reported, but it rejects the substance of his nuclear agenda, saying it would be "neither fair, reasonable nor realistic to ask China to join the so-called trilateral nuclear disarmament negotiations at this stage", since China's arsenal is far smaller than the U.S. and Russian ones, which together hold some 90% of the world's nuclear warheads.
Trump has floated three-way nuclear talks since his first term and returned to the idea at a White House summit with Xi in late September — their second meeting this year. "We have more nuclear weapons than anybody. Russia is second. China is third, but catching up," he said on Oct. 19.

Kyiv insists it cannot be left out. "A trilateral meeting between the leaders of Russia, China and the US would do only the opposite: encourage Putin to continue this war," Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said on Oct. 19. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, speaking in Oslo on Oct. 20, said issues touching Ukraine's future "can be acceptable only when we are at the table of negotiations".

Russia Weighs Pump-Price Markup to Cover Cost of Fuel It Now Imports
1/2

Russia is moving to make drivers pay for the fuel it can no longer refine enough of at home.
The government is weighing a proposal to let oil companies add 2.1 rubles to the price of a liter of gasoline and diesel, compensating them for imported fuel that currently loses money at the pump. The plan, set out in an October letter to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin from the Energy Ministry and signed by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, was reported by Kommersant on Oct. 22.
The economics are stark. Selling fuel bought abroad at current retail prices at the networks of vertically integrated oil companies loses 13 to 18 rubles a liter even after the import damper, a state subsidy meant to cushion the cost of foreign cargoes. The payments fall short because sanctions add a premium to imported fuel over global prices, and hauling it across Russia costs more on top.
By the Energy Ministry's calculations, gasoline at the stations of the biggest retailers would end the year about 11% dearer, or 7.1 rubles a liter, with summer diesel up 10.7%, or 8.2 rubles. The markup — which would apply to all the fuel those companies sell, not just imported barrels — would hand them roughly 12 billion rubles a month in extra revenue and narrow the price gap with independent stations to 8–18 rubles a liter, from 13–18 rubles now.
Motorists have little cushion left. Gasoline has risen 20.5% since the start of the year through Oct. 19, according to Rosstat — 3.3 times the official inflation rate of 6.15% — with the average liter costing 78.04 rubles. Diesel is up 13.4%, at 86.58 rubles.
An alternative would fold the cost of rail deliveries from Russia's northwest to its central regions, about 4,000–5,000 rubles a ton, into the import-damper formula. Pump prices would rise a more modest 1.6 rubles a liter, but the budget would have to pay out as much as 2 billion rubles a month. The Finance Ministry is against it.
>>
>>544786714
2/2

Making consumers pay spares the budget, which is why the authorities prefer it to adjusting the damper, says tax expert Boris Lutset. The draft budget earmarks only about 6.7 billion rubles for import-damper payouts in 2027. An industry source cited by Kommersant called the 2.1-ruble markup the most likely scenario, but cautioned that volatile world prices keep shifting the cost of imports, meaning the measure may not fix the profitability of supplies.
Russia, once a net fuel exporter, has been buying gasoline and diesel abroad since Ukrainian drone strikes on its refineries — a campaign intensified since 2025 — cut domestic output and forced an end to fuel exports. Novak said on Oct. 15 that imports would continue at least through the end of 2026 to supply the market and rebuild stocks. Kommersant's sources expect them to run at about 620,000 tons of gasoline a month in October–December, covering 16–18% of supply, with Belarus the dominant seller: seaborne cargoes from India, Turkey and Morocco cost far more.
The import math explains why. In September, the Federal Antimonopoly Service's import-alternative price for AI-92 gasoline climbed to 108,000 rubles a ton against a domestic wholesale price of 70,170 rubles; for diesel, the benchmark hit 121,800 rubles versus 67,730 rubles.

No one would trust that it would stay at 140 if it's arbitrarily devalued once for convenience. Who trusts a pidor pinkie promise to not do it again? Rates would have to climb to regain trust. Borrowing costs are already nudging 17% as it is - that is bond traders are trying to claw the central bank into raising sooner - so if the ruble crashed in this environment, the fragile bond market may become irreparably broken and with it the financial system.
