Speeding through tight Toronto streets at 60 was always a bad idea, most drivers just think that pedestrians getting run over is acceptable to save them a few minutes.Also, the freeway speedlimit was increased to 110. This is all completely logical - slower in places infested with people, faster in places infested with cars.
