Every single thing about sex and sexuality in marriage has been stripped. The woman doesn't have to be a virgin. The woman doesn't have to be chaste. Hell, the women doesn't even have to be sexually exclusive to the man. No legal punishment for adultery. Legal punishment for demanding sex when the woman doesn't want to give it. How does any of this promote reproduction? Modern marriage is just a wealth transfer from men to women, nothing else. Chinks already figured this out. Their feminists went nuclear when the CCP suggested new marriage laws recently where property isn't divided upon divorce, but is given to whoever paid for it, and anything gifted to the man by his parents is considered his property and isn't up for grabs. This would never fly in the gynocentric west. Jews and women would burn the government down. Marriage is all carrot no stick for women, and all stick no carrot for men. It is true, marriage is a net negative for men. I would argue it always was though, it was a way to protect women from being single mothers without a provider. Men who desire marriage are really making a mistake there as it is seen as a signal of biological weakness.
