Was Bungie warning us by creating these aliens in halo that control all the other aliens species and make them fight?
>>544827337Yes. They weren't exactly hiding anything. Marty and other OG devs from that era are pretty explicit when asked about it.
>>544827337No they were more honest in Destiny where humans will be run by other humans with magic powers who are better than you and more "enlightened" oh no wait they are not enlightened they just got powers from a magic space ball they refuse to share with you and keep you under control by fear mongering limp dick threats from 3rd world aliens they keep antagonizing
>>544827337religion is suicidal brainwashing that turns you multiculty and into an asshole
The (((great journey))) waits for no one, brother.
Halo was war on terror propaganda
the covenant were muslims and the UNSC was america and the allies against terrorists
Anyone else associate the halo series with winter and the Christmas season? I got my Xbox and halo 1 for Christmas and halo 2 I remember getting for Christmas as well alongside the Xbox Live starter set. I remember winter break the hear halo 2 came out being based and just playing halo 2 obsessively while our house was decked out in Christmas decorations. Was mega comfy.God bless those Christian boomer sci fi nerds who made the halo franchise. I didn’t realize how good I had it.
>>544827337cool earlobes on these fellasi'm sure it's not a reference to anything
>>544827337They actually remind me a lot of the government here.
>>544828374No. But I associate it with Mountain Dew Livewire.
>>544828374I associate it with childhood sleepovers. Many nights playing coop and multiplayer at my friends house
Biblical and Christian Parallels• Master Chief (John-117): Portrayed as a Christ-like figure of sacrifice and salvation, waking up to save humanity and undergoing a symbolic death and resurrection at the end of Halo 3.• The Covenant: Functions as an allegory for religious fanaticism, false prophets, and a medieval crusade. The alien leaders are literally called "Prophets" who demand blind faith and wage a holy war against humanity (whom they view as heretics or "demons").• The Arbiter (Thel 'Vadam): Serves as a parallel to figures like Paul the Apostle, shifting from a zealous enforcer of the Covenant religion to an enlightened ally of Master Chief after discovering the Prophets' lies.• The Flood and Gravemind: The parasitic Flood represents sin, total depravity, and a destructive plague, with the hive-mind Gravemind explicitly describing itself as "a monument to all your sins".• The Halo Rings and The Ark: The ring-shaped superweapons and the destination known as the Ark draw direct inspiration from biblical cataclysms, divine judgments, and Noah's Ark (acting as a galactic reset to purge life and starve the Flood).
