There’s all this talk of how “neocons” like Bush, Cheney, etc. were allegedly pure evil and that America needs to be purged of anything “neocon.” But were they really all that worse than Trump and MAGA? The 2000s seemed incredibly blissful compared to what we have now. I get that people were upset about the Iraq War but was that really the fault of the neocons or just typical American imperialism?
