So because the remedy is “too slow” and only some progress has been made (its been about a year and a half) the plan is to give control back to the people under which the inflation occured?
Did you think trump could snap his fingers and all the damage biden did could just be undone?

>"the economy is the strongest it's ever been"
That's what makes it irrecoverable.

It would be one thing if they were scrambling to fix what they'd broken, but they are 100% focused on just denying what's broken, and that's where all of their energy is going...
His solution to the war he started is literally "Blame Ukraine"...

Because we're trapped in a two-party system and the alternative was Kamala.
Trump is only proven to be able to beat harpies.

We need Ranked-Choice voting, which would eliminate the behavior of "not wanting to waste my vote" and thereby kill the two-party system.

>Did you think trump could snap his fingers and all the damage biden did could just be undone?
Are you implying Trump wasn't acting that way on the campaign trail?
>>
>>544850991
Was it not drilled into your heads in school that "absolute power corrupts absolutely"
They told me that 100 times it seems like

They didn't teach me that all politicians are crooks. My Dad thought me that. He meant ALL OF CONGRESS, SENATE AND HOUSE
I wasn't sure what to think of that until I saw that every single person is Congress is a millionaire. They should make the House the Blue Collar one, Amend the Constitution to where you can only serve your state in the US House if your networth is below a million. Then let each state put up two millionaires in the Senate

As for parties, you're a slave if you just follow One Party. One Party systems have shown to be terrible everywhere you look except maybe China. I'm surprised China isn't crippled with corruption. Even Trump says he doesn't know how they make it work. Maybe the current leadership is one that gave into to traditional Chinese virtues like honor. We have those traditional virtues here in the West too

But our politicians don't live or care about any of them. They are all crooks. They are all weak men. They are all lying to you, telling you the lies they know you want to accept. Look around the US Senate, can you make one US Senator that lives up to the traditional virtues that men like George Washington were guided by?

Go read George Washington. He is an honorable man. Go read his farewell address to the nation were he warned there would be a two party system but you must reject both of them as cancers to the nation

You're an idiot if you allow yourself be brainwashed by one party or the other. The best government is not a One Party state, absolute power corrupts absolutely esp in a capitalist every man for himself dog eat dog rat race syren that both Democrats and Republicans are 100% behind. They are all bad people until an honorable man emerges

Everything is someone else's fault. He's won the political jackpot of his party's control of the executive and both houses of Congress, has been able to appoint judges to the third branch; but it's all, always, someone else's fault. He dindu nuffin. He's a good boy. He's a kang n'shit.

We need to go on Strike. Everyone refuse to vote until we Amend the Constitution until every ballot has a 3rd option "these two candidates suck put up two better ones and try again"

And for every dollar spent on brain washing people with propaganda, all those millions each party spends in each election, half of that has to fund Option #3 propaganda: "these two candidates suck put up two better ones and try again"

We can't Amend the Constitution for that. Constitution allows that and that hasn't worked. There are two sides to every issue and you need people to argue both sides for you like attorneys do before a jury. It's called the Adversarial System. We just need each side to put up more honorable and respectable people that the turd salad we're in

>total physical exhaustion of underground oil reserves is not expected until the latter half of the 21st century.

>Physical Reserves: Current estimates suggest proven, economically viable oil reserves will last roughly 50 to 52 years at current consumption rates (projecting an empty or non-viable baseline near the 2050s), though deeper or harder-to-reach oil could technically linger longer even as it becomes economically impractical to extract

My Dad's a petroleum engineer, so he always leans GOP. Economy always does better under Democrats for some reason tho. Probably because NYC, LA, Chicago all the Big Cities in Texas, the whole East Coast, it's all Democrat and those are the centers of economy

If you want the economy to do good quit voting in favor of the uneducated and very brainwashed rural population of America

We're doing great!

• The Promise: During his 2024 presidential campaign, Donald Trump vowed to cut energy prices and push gasoline below $2 a gallon.
• Current Reality: As of October 2026, the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline is about $4.27 to $4.44
• Why Prices Rose: According to reports from NBC News and CBS News, gas prices spiked following the U.S. and Israel war with Iran in early 2026, which disrupted global oil supplies, along with the impact of administration tariffs.
• Updated Timeline: The administration has shifted its projections, stating that gasoline prices will only drop below $2 a gallon after the midterm elections
>>
>>544855309
I don't give 2 shits who your crusty old man is, Democrats will ban fracking and drilling for oil and shut down oil pipelines like the last time they had power. Also, the US economy does not always do better under Democratic presidents and those are results of decisions made years before a president takes office.
>>
>>544855946
You should probably have paid attention more
• Oil and Fracking Claims: According to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration, U.S. crude oil production reached historic all-time highs during Democratic administrations, averaging over 13 million barrels per day through recent years. While Democratic platforms emphasize transitioning toward clean energy and tightening methane regulations, national hydraulic fracturing and oil drilling have expanded rather than faced a blanket ban.
• Economic Performance Data: According to historical post-WWII macroeconomic analyses published by institutions like the Economic Policy Institute and the U.S. Joint Economic Committee, key indicators such as GDP growth, private-sector job creation, and average unemployment changes have statistically trended higher during Democratic presidential terms.
• Causality and Lag Effects: Economists note that presidential policies do not operate in a vacuum. Long-term economic trajectories are shaped by a combination of preceding legislative trends, global oil shocks, technological productivity shifts, international trade conditions, and decisions made by the Federal Reserve rather than the sitting president alone.

Don't know him. There was a previous charastmstic young white guy running as a Democrat for US Senate from Texas that nobody knew about, he didn't captivate the nation with his charisma like this current guy all the conservatives are bringing up every two seconds in every conversation and have on their minds 24/7.

I forget his name. He was famous for stumping on the ground in every county in Texas which if true us crazy because they have hostile rural counties full of Deliverance style red necks (go read up on what it's like being a Democrat trying to help a campaign even as a local volunteer in those counties, it's eye-opening)

He ran against Ted Cruz so he was a God-sent
>How the fuck do people keep voting for Ted Cruz? If it wasn't for Trump, Ted Cruz would have been President. That's how fucked up Texas and this whole nation has become

BUT the guy was retarded on the assault fully automatic gangs warfare crips vs blood machine guns, he wanted to ban them which you don't do in Texas as that's like the Utopia for people that want a ranch and 100 assault rifles. Heck even in college (not Texas) my best friends were taking us out to shoot assault rifles (ammo was $$$$$) out on their land or away from town. One even got busted with two unregistered ones in his trunk. Even today two of my friends keep assault rifles in cases under their bed, the one the Army uses. One is ex-Army the other has it as a reserve option. His active options are the loaded shotgun by his bed and the loaded revolver in the cabinet right when you open the door from the side driveway were he parks and were his garage is

But yeah that dude wanting to ban assault rifles shot our whole Nation in the foot with that, he apologized it latter and was shamed by sitting Democrat US Senators for it

And now we have Ted Cruz
>>
>>544857269
Think about how broken our nation has become that we keep putting up Ted Cruz as one of the two US Senators for Texas, which if it were its own nation would be a Top10 global economy and would have the surface area making it the 4th-largest country in North America by land it governs

Here is this last GOP primary for Ted Cruz, the GOP didn't give you any other choices. They just treat Ted Cruz like he's literal royalty like they do in the British Isles, like he's the 12th Baron of Texas and gets eternal rights to lord over all of us

When it comes to all the money spent on propaganda for campaigns, we need to start spending most of that here at the primary level so there are always other candidate that have a good shot at representing the honor of the GOP

In this one, there were 2,239,958 voting. All brainwashed idiots that made up a tiny part of the people that live in Texas:
>The 18 and older adult population of Texas in 2025 was approximately 24.07 million

R E ‘Rufus’ Lopez
Age (as of March, 5 2024): 82

Campaign website: none
Best way for voters to reach you: email, phone

Occupation: Attorney
Education: Baylo9r University
>Yes they didn't spell check it and left the 9 in there
Have you run for elected office before?
yes, Texas Land Commissioner, 2018
Please list the highlights of your civic involvement/activism.

I have been practicing law for 59 years, and am a member of the Texas Bar Association, American Bar Association, Texas Bar College, Federal Bar Association, licensed to practice before the Texas courts, U S Supreme Court, 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, Western and Southern Federal District Courts.

Who are your top three campaign contributors?
me

Why are you seeking this office?
I believe we need to bring civility to the conduct of the office of U S Senator, invoke the proper ethics with witnesses in committee meetings, attend all sessions of the Senate, and earn the salary that is paid. Lack of respect for the office, failure to pass significant legislation, and lack of attendance for 12 years is unacceptable.
>>
>>544860548
What are the biggest challenges facing Texas?
The U S Senator is a federal office, responsible for the whole country, and Texas has its own unique challenges in the border, petroleum, windfarms, and distribution and transportation of the gas and oil must be protected. We must insure the passage of a Farm Bill that can be relied on for the next 5 years by the farmers and ranchers, to protect this industry and the need for reliable farm insurance. We have the challenge of the border and the need for a comprehensive immigration bill that can only be done by looking at the history of the problem and apply and full and concise system. We need workers in this country and we need to reintroduce the seasonal workers and expand the malquiladora programs in south and central america.

If elected, what would your top 3 policy priorities be?
I will protect Social Security , insure a comprehensive Farm Bill, and promote our petroleum industry.

How will you measure your success as a U.S. Senator?
100% attendance on the job, encourage meaningful, civilized discussion with all senators and representatives, quit complaining and “earn my keep”.

Why should voters choose you over your opponent(s)?
I will bring 59 years of experience in the practice of law, sensible debate and discussion. I will not demean opponents or witnesses who appear at committee hearings, and I will respect for the office of Senator.
>>
>>544860577
>expand the malquiladora programs in south and central america.
He talk about this more later and I've never heard of it

A maquiladora (or maquila) is a factory in Mexico—and parts of Latin America—run by a foreign company that imports raw materials or components duty-free, assembles or processes them, and exports the finished products back to the foreign country or other markets

Key Characteristics & Operations

• Foreign Ownership: Mexican law permits 100% foreign ownership of maquiladora operations (often to the U.S. or Canada),

• Duty-Free Imports: Raw materials, parts, and manufacturing equipment enter Mexico without paying tariffs or import duties under special trade and tax frameworks

Common Models

• Pure Maquiladora: Assembles goods using equipment provided by a related foreign entity; all products must be exported.
• Shelter Maquiladora: Uses a local shelter service provider to handle administrative, legal, human resources, and compliance tasks while the foreign company retains control over manufacturing.

More

• Economic Driver: Maquiladoras employ millions of workers and represent a massive portion of Mexico's manufacturing and export economy, clustered heavily along the U.S.–Mexico border and in industrial corridors.
• Labor & Social Concerns: Critics frequently point to low wages, long hours, labor exploitation
