Filthy gaijin pirates humiliated and destroyed
>>
Just continue pirating. Jugaad maxxing is the way to go. Why pay when you can steal?

Nice digits

Your tranime belongs to us, Takashit.
If buying isn't owning, then piracy isn't theft.
>>
I didn't need to know that playing video games for free also upsets my enemies. I procrastinate enough.

You can see why the elites chose you
You don’t question rules no matter how stupid they are

Yes it's been a bizarre argument for a long time. It's akshually cheaper, even with Canadian currency, for me to import games physically from Japan vs. buying games in the store or online locally.
And digital prices are absurdly cheap. DLsite, DMM, all give reasonably easy options to purchase as well.
>>
>>544887382
Western audience just prefers to give Apple thousands of dollars vs. giving artists 10-100 bucks here and there. It's why gacha-raping the West is the meta option and I expect more companies to do this.
>>
>just buy it! just order it from japan!
sorry, I don't feel like paying $800 for a single videogame after taxes + tariffs + import fees

If not for Western piracy, otaku knowledge would be lost to the sands of time and stingy collectors.

The white pig has a thirst to make wikis, to catalog, to remember.
The Japanese produce and forget about it. Want to check what happens on the 84th chapter of a manga? You have to buy it.

But the language barrier is still a problem, gaijin document what they can, but they don't fully understand the information, so it is very spotty.

Life ends, and Art is a living thing. Cataloging is death, and preservationists are completely Anti-Art.
When sincere of course. Most 'preservationists' are just cheap people looking to steal things so they can save their money for things like IPhones etc. Quite a sad state of affairs for 'the West.'
>>
>>544887609
Wonder through the vast European museums and see Death on display. Do you care about anything you see? No, and no one does. They are dead works, corpses hung for some flatulent idea of 'identity.'
And then the opposite is the living exhibition where you will akshually see sincere smiles in people's eyes.
Anyway, Art is completely dead in the English world and will remain so for reasons like these and for other reasons too.
>>
>>544887565
this too
piracy is preservation

You are massively gay for owning Funko Pops.
Art and culture, language and history, they are all inter-connected. A well-documented culture is important in the long-term.

In the short-term, I want to play games from the 80s and 90s with the click of a button, or to watch a good show instead of being shoved whatever slop is being produced these days.

Imagine if you couldn't watch The Godfather, because it is not available for sale anywhere anymore, so you have to make do with whatever Elliot Page has been up to instead.

Piracy forced streaming, which in turn forced manga/anime to be on-demand online, greatly increasing access to media.
But it is all a castle of sand, the plug can be pulled at any time and bring the readerbase back into the dark ages. Plus its coverage is far from sufficient.
>>
>>544887987
You are simply a consumer, so you want to consume more for free. Understandable. But you are not an Artist nor do you have any sense for Art. You are Dead.
I could not care less for the Godfather and there's no reason to 'preserve' such a worthless piece of media. The only things requiring preservation are Bach, Mozart tiers. None of modern media is at that level.
>>
>>544888134
Choosing 'The Godfather' over equivalent modern creation simply kills the equivalent modern creation and prevents any further development of Art. That is why preservation of mediocre to good work is also a poor idea.
But one will spend his life 10 years behind, on the same or lower quality works, wondering why one is sad and empty. Oh well, he saved some money (god knows one is poor for good reason too.)
>>
>>544886886
If it weren't for pirating I'd never know about the gem that is Seiken Densetsu 3, though.
>>
>>544886886

So sit in your cuck chair and watch as I profane you products

Remember that real koreans, japanese and peruvians don't visit this board
>bro tried to sneak koreans kekekekekek
no, you fucking idiot, they have their own forums and their own imageboards, it's not hard to understand

>You can come to Japan or order it from abroad
Nobody is going to spend the money to fly across the planet when they can pirate it. And most Japanese storefronts don't have English or other languages available.
People will continue to pirate until you make things available to them. They'll even pirate after that. It's a force of nature. The only solution is to make it convenient and affordable. THEN you'll make money.

But It's not like old boomer Japs can ever learn lessons. It's why their economy is a stagnant shithole. No ambition, no drive to reach new markets they could overwhelmingly dominate.

I am no Mozart, but I create many things, and will keep on creating long after all long-form media has been replaced by Tiktok short videos.

Which apparently will be your new source of entertainment, out of principle.

Having an extensive library of every piece of media ever produced by another human only kills the business model, not the artists.
If you value art, you should recognize the greatest writers in history wrote as a secondary thing, not as a job. And in the 21th century, other artistic endeavors, such as painting or composing, can also be achieved at nearly no cost, meaning it does not have to be paid for by patrons.

Why do you defend the profits over the propagation of art, be it of old or contemporary, which you consider to be a necessary fuel circulating in people's brains?
Do you fear the zeitgeist will freeze if people can watch shows with ridiculous 80s hairstyles?

You are definitely a kike, a speculative little mite, making money out of artificial scarcity and other forms of non-creation.

>>544886886
no i will pirate everything, always did. now i even have Netflix and Disney shit and on TV there are animes( of course im not paying for Netflix, or anything) . i still pirate and always will, it is more convenient, no ads and i have it forever. same with games and everything. i don't care you they think of me, i just ignore them

If only we could have enough free time these days that people could persue creative passions in.
But that would require reforming work culture and the suits HATE that idea.

When I studied in Japan, the Japanese university plagiarized every book in the curriculum by copying them and handing them out to students.

Steam has proven that access and price are the silver bullets for piracy, yet nippoid boomers still want their copyright shakedown racket out of sheer inertia and izzat saving. Same cunts who used to go around to cafes in the 00s/10s representing King Records and shit so they could demand fees from store owners for having a radio on.
>>
Piracy is simply a better product. For the price of a 4T drive I can have a few thousand movies, animes, manga, music, whatever.
I have it forever. No one can pull the plug on the service. It doesn't take up a warehouse worth of space.
>>
This dynamic is also why South Korea and even China have now surpassed Japan's cultural soft power Cool Japan shit with soap operas and 90s pop EDM garbage. Japan is the modern day Ancient China, suicidally inward facing.
>>
>>544886886
Paying for anime is actually really frowned upon in the west. It goes against the traditional concept of freedom, which means "to extract as much value as possible from others without offering anything in return."
