For the unacquainted here, this is how Albanian national myth goes: Albanians are ancient Illyrians (Alexander the Great was Albanian), who existed here for thousands of years, and totally dominated everything and everyone, and then suddenly Slavs came and oppressed them. Even though not a single historical record mentions Albanians in any shape and form before high medieval period, and even though Illyrian languages died out between 2nd and 4th century (which would logically imply they would speak bastard Latin like Romanians, if they were indeed here before Slavs), Albanians were here all the time, and we stole our culture for them, even though their vocabulary is like 80% borrowed from Slavs, Turks, Latins or Greeks. Albanian presence in Kosovo is also ancient, even though historical records don't even mention them before 14th century, and despite the fact their name for Kosovo is literally...Kosovo, which means nothing in Albanian, but means ''Field of blackbirds'' in Slavic languages. Also pay no attention to the fact that their word for every settlement and place in Kosovo is of Slavic origin. They are ancient and superior but for some reason they use Slavic words to name places in their ancient homeland. Also, Montenegrins are all genetically Albanians who were Slavicized, even though on average Montenegrins are like 10cm taller than them. In ''natural Albania'', Albanians would be outnumbered like 3 to 1 by non-Albanians, but this is totally realistic goal of theirs.
