Yeah I know we don't have any big national races but honestly it just felt good to play my small role. Is it likely my state house and state senate seat go blue, no. Is it likely my house seat goes blue no. But I voted and I'm proud to say that for the first time in my life I didn't vote for republicans. I missed voting in 2016 by 1 month. I voted straight red in 2020 and 2024. I'm the first and only in my family in god knows how many generations (If ever!) to vote straight blue. But it's not all doom and gloom here. Utah is a pretty cool state. Our governor is red but he's moderate and not MAGA. We will probably send 1 blue congressman to DC this time. And we have some pretty awesome Blue cities and towns that people love. In Utah, politics is a dialogue between neighbors. I love how locally focused all the candidates (red and blue) were!
