A victory lap of sorts. I never used to think so but recently experienced a traumatic event and now I can’t stop thinking about how insane it is to pitch the titanic sinking as a romanticized event/love story given the facts. They’re gonna make a romanticized 9/11 love story movie of the same ilk in time make no mistake. And that’s what people will associate it with. 1200 people in the pitch blackness the frigid waters screaming or sucked into a vortex until they died around an hour later. Things like that should always be a horror movie. The titanic sinking objectively is horror movie material.

>Titanic is propaganda
So is my fart which debunks the insanity known as the insane globe cult's cartoon-based anti-science globe myth

the guy falling on the propeller was the best part. the rest was forgettable

Rich girl fucks a bum and dumps her arranged fiance and throws his priceless gift into the ocean. she could have spent the money on her grand children

The movie is literally about a woman who cucks her fiance for a guy she just met on an oceanliner, then had sex with that guy before the ship hit an iceberg, then had the audacity to throw away the necklace the ship robbers were looking for the moment she died on the ship of those ship robbers.

Checked and true but it wouldn’t have been made or so successful unless it was allowed to be. In a roundabout way it severely minimizes the actual horror of the event and creates a strong fictional association that draws the mind away from other theories about its sinking

Uhm no, don't you know that it's much more important to rebel against opressive rules that tell you you can't fornicate with some coomer hood rat that used to fuck one legged prostitutes if you're already engaged to someone your parents think is a good fit for you? That is a much more important message than any of the things you just yapped about.

We haven’t had a nice comfy group thread like the Titan submersible crisis in a while. I was rooting so hard for those boys

The point is this was the og 9/11 and it’s interesting to see how they’ve successfully subverted everyone’s perception of the event via a cliche romance movie.

Ah yes, the marine fleshlight.

See that’s what I’m saying tho it’s not that plot that surprises me in its degeneracy it’s using something as horrific and frightening as the titanic sinking as a backdrop to it that’s frankly suspicious.

They take anything that has lots of emotions tied to it (disaster that traumatized lots of people, hence why there's so many "romance" movies with a background of war) because how the human brain functions is that it associates anything that generates a lot of emotions as important so if you layer a traumatic event with woke propaganda, you can much easier get people to accept it as actually based because it provides a welcome "wholesomeness" to distract from the horror of reality.
>>
>>544950584
Yup, they be doing that and it's not a coincidence.

True but titanic specifically feels like a victory lap because they were 99.9% behind it. It’s dawned on me that they will absolutely do that with a faggy 9/11 romance flick and it’s going to be so gay.

its romance porn where the good guy gives her a priceless jewel to court her and she chooses some bad boy to have a careless fling with and then the bad boy is tamed by her pussy and gives his life for her..

its horror because youre a man

>[Archibald Gracie, ‘The Truth About The Titanic’]

>What impressed me at the time was a thin light-gray smoky vapor that hung like a pall a few feet above the broad expanse of sea that was covered with a mass of tangled wreckage. It may have been caused by smoke or steam rising to the surface around the area where the ship had sunk. At any rate it produced a supernatural effect. Add to this, there arose to the sky the most horrible sounds ever heard by mortal man. The agonizing cries of death from over a thousand throats, the wails and groans of the suffering, the shrieks of the terror-stricken and the awful gaspings for breath of those in the last throes of drowning, none of us will ever forget to our dying day. “Help! Help! Boat ahoy! Boat ahoy!” and “My God! My God!” were the heart-rending cries and shrieks of men, which floated to us over the surface of the dark waters continuously for the next hour, but as time went on, growing weaker and weaker until they died out entirely.

I think about this a lot. The survivors would have mental breakdowns when they heard sports arena crowds because it’d remind them of the screaming in the water. One likened it to a pound at lunchtime. No competing sounds or light either. The craziest part is everyone who survived immediately got what? WWI Great Depression and if they were lucky enough WWII.

I was watching Titanic documentaries on the Discovery channel since 2nd grade. Even I knew back then the sinking was disaster & a tragedy. Only part I liked about the film was the sinking, where the ship split in 2. Other than that, I never cared about the rest of the film, except for the part where I saw the redheaded girl naked. My dad had a VHS of the movie & was kind enough to let me watch the film on Fridays when I was at his place. Yeah I watched Kate Winslet get naked every Friday after school before I was even in middle school, but the actual ship sinking, that was the part I liked the most. Pretty sure it fueled my fetish for redheads.

They already did and it's even more gay than you can even imagine.

Its also a victory lap because they used that disaster to kill off John Jacob Astor III and a handful of other elites who weren't too keen on the federal reserve and enslaving the American population woth fake money.

How long until the globohomo nwo woke crowd butchers the legacy of the ship by making a Blacked Titanic movie? You just know it's coming.
