In your opinion, did the Nazis ever come close to TZD during the eastern campaign?

The scale of the eastern front was many times larger than the war in ukraine. The battles of Stalingrad and Kursk both had more participants, individually, than the totality of the war in ukraine.

How can you trannies squeal about TZD? Its clearly fake.

You guys havent even made a dent so far.

Meanwhile, ukraine is destroyed and NATO on the verge of collapse.

>Yeltsin got his mind blown by an american grocery store

I actually got to experience a bit of this for myself.

When I was in korea, taking a korean cutie to the PX was the best possible "date" you could take her on.

All the bright colors and overabundance of choice, was like catnip for them. Taking women grocery shopping (in korea) was the surest possible way of getting laid.

They would sit and stare (aghast) at the 50 pound burlap sacks of rice. They would be ENTHRALLED by the long breakfast cereal aisle for at least 30 minutes alone.

The local PX was basically a large convenience store. Sharing tales of the "Big PX" back home was like reading a harry potter novel for them.

They all wanted to visit the "Big PX." Silly women wanted nothing more in the world than a ticket to the Big PX.

and you impressed KOREANS with a 50lb sack of RICE. their unit is 한 가마, 80kg. you showed her a third of a bag and called it a date. kek, this is like impressing a Finn with a sauna

Drone Threats Shut Russian Airports Almost 3,000 Times This Year

1/2

Russian civil airports halted operations 2,860 times in the first eight months of 2026 amid drone threats, a 4.5-fold increase from a year earlier, according to a Forbes calculation based on data from Rosaviatsiya, the state aviation authority.
The agency invoked the "Carpet" plan — the protocol under which airports stop accepting and dispatching flights when an air attack is threatened — 643 times in January–August 2025, not counting weather-related closures. Rosaviatsiya hasn't disclosed how many flights have been diverted to alternate airfields this year; in the same eight months of 2025, 1,174 flights were redirected. Forbes estimates this year's diversions have grown roughly fourfold.
Andrei Patrakov, head of RunAvia, a flight-safety and certification consultancy, put the number of diversions between January and September at 4,000 to 5,000. Restrictions were in force 4.1 times longer in total this year, and the disruptions have changed character, he said: airlines increasingly hold or cancel flights at the departure airport instead of diverting them mid-route. Airports in the Urals and western Siberia — which handle fewer flights per hour than those in Russia's European half — have been pulled into the closures too.
The bill is mounting. Diverting an average flight cost carriers 1.1 million to 2.1 million rubles this year, about half of that fuel, up from 0.9 million to 1.7 million rubles in 2025, according to Patrakov. When a closure of the destination airport drags on, hotel rooms for stranded passengers and a replacement crew push direct costs to 1.9 million to 3.4 million rubles. Counting ground handling, crew pay and lost revenue, airlines may have lost 175 billion to 275 billion rubles in the first nine months of 2026 — with roughly 24,000 flights affected, 13,000 of them delayed and 11,000 canceled, he said.

Moscow's hub, Russia's largest, has broken down at least five times in October alone as Ukrainian drones forced it shut. All four of its airports — Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Zhukovsky — were closed during the daytime on Friday, Oct. 23, when Sheremetyevo declared an air-raid alert and moved passengers to shelters. More than 340 flights were delayed or canceled that day, and disruption spread to a further 200-plus flights on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Ukrainian drone attack on Belgorod kills two, wounds 13

1/2

Two men were killed and 13 people wounded when Ukrainian drones attacked the Russian border city of Belgorod overnight into Oct. 25, regional Governor Alexander Shuvaev said. One of the wounded later died in hospital, he said, bringing the death toll to two. Seven of the injured remain in hospital and six are being treated as outpatients.
The strike damaged 30 apartment blocks, four private houses, three administrative buildings, eight commercial properties and three social facilities, and destroyed 35 cars, Shuvaev said. Belgorod Mayor Valentin Demidov spoke of "significant destruction of the housing stock" and said 53 residents had moved to temporary shelters. Across the wider Belgorod region, four people were killed and 19 wounded, including a 17-year-old, in Ukrainian attacks over the 24 hours, the governor said, adding that air defences had downed some 200 drones over the region in that period.
The local Pepel Telegram channel said drones struck the MegaGrinn shopping mall — one of the largest in the region at more than 163,000 square metres — and the courtyard of the Parizh residential complex. The city centre was left with craters, building and drone debris scattered across the roads and dozens of dead birds. The Ukrainian monitoring channel Supernova+ also reported the strike on MegaGrinn, which caught fire. The mall's administration said on Sunday morning it would stay closed, without giving a reason. Russia's Investigative Committee opened a terrorism case over the attack.
Ukrainian forces also attacked the Kursk region, where an energy facility was damaged in the Khomutovsky district, leaving 104 settlements — home to some 11,000 consumers — without power, Governor Alexander Khinshtein said. In the village of Kozyrevka in the Bolshesoldatsky district, an FPV drone attacked a car, wounding a 30-year-old man.
>>
>>544957424
2/2

In Lipetsk, several parked cars burned on Bunina Street. Governor Igor Artamonov said the cause was falling drone debris, but residents writing in local chat groups questioned that account, according to the Astra news outlet, saying window units had been blown out in buildings up to the 11th floor and that people had been hurt.
In the Rostov region, air defences destroyed more than 50 drones overnight over five districts — Verkhnedonsky, Millerovsky, Kasharsky, Chertkovsky and Sholokhovsky — Governor Yury Slyusar said, adding there were no reports of casualties or damage on the ground.
Russia's Defence Ministry said 532 Ukrainian drones were destroyed overnight over 22 regions, annexed Crimea and the Sea of Azov.

Elon Musk says SpaceX throttled Starlink in Ukraine over 'offensive drone strikes to kill people'

1/?

Elon Musk has admitted that SpaceX limited Starlink's speed in Ukraine, accusing the country's military of breaking the satellite internet service's terms of use to conduct offensive drone strikes.
"Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be," Musk wrote on X on Saturday, Oct. 24. "Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week."
He distanced SpaceX from the parallel restrictions on the military-grade service: "Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them."
Musk also argued Starlink is indispensable to Ukraine: "Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately." He added: "This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact." Starlink was also crucial, he said, in preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the war's first days, "as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia."
"SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR," he continued. "That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict."
>>
>>544957661
2/3

Ukrainian officials pushed back. Serhii Beskrestnov, a defense technology adviser to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said it was "very strange" that Musk appeared unaware of the service's existing restrictions: since the winter of 2026, all Starlink terminals over Ukraine — including occupied territories — have been limited to 70–90 km/h in motion, and the commercial service doesn't work over Russia at all. "Therefore, we physically cannot use commercial Starlink for deep strikes or medium-range strikes," Beskrestnov wrote on Telegram.
Serhii Sternenko, a former adviser to Ukraine's defense ministry, went further, saying Musk's claim "is not true." Whitelists introduced in February mean stationary terminals can be registered by civilians and service members alike, he said — "but for any satellite terminal to work while on the move, it had to be added to a special list and connected to the military Starshield system. Otherwise, no satellite communication terminals in Ukraine would work. In other words, using civilian Starlink for drone missions was technically impossible."
The disruptions began overnight on Oct. 14, as relations between Washington and Kyiv deteriorated over Ukraine's strikes on Russian oil refineries, which Trump complained were driving up world oil and diesel prices. The restrictions cut connectivity for terminals moving faster than roughly 100 mph, hobbling Ukraine's strike drones and interceptors as well as reconnaissance, logistics, and communications relays. For more than a week, Musk and the White House blamed each other — Reuters reported that the order to throttle Starshield came from inside the White House, which Trump denied.
>>
>>544957670
3/3

On Oct. 22, Trump said SpaceX had restored Ukraine's full access to Starlink, though Ukrainian units reported the service was still disrupted the following day. On Oct. 24, Ukraine's Defense Ministry said connectivity was stable again at speeds above 400 km/h (about 250 mph), and Zelenskyy confirmed the services were "restored to the speeds we had before the restrictions."

The 20k figure of Soviet losses includes those killed/seriously wounded due to famine, illness, PoW deaths and executions, and unaccounted missing.
If you only calculate those directly killed/seriously wounded in combat by the Germans, the number is only 4.5k daily.
So Ukraine, by itself, is managing to inflict about half the number of combat losses on Russia that the entire Nazi war machine did, despite having far fewer resources to do so.
Somehow, modern Russians think this is something to brag about.

smallest kimchi fridge ever sold in Korea: 100 liters, 978mm tall. lid types are waist high, stand types are 1.8m and go past 500 liters. unless your knees are a meter off the ground, you never saw one

>in its own drawer

Koreans average about 21 grams of bread a day. that’s less than one slice. their staples are rice and kimchi, the two things they buy in 20kg bags and keep in a dedicated fridge. your “Korean” daily routine is a bread run, anon. that’s a бyлoчнaя, not Seoul

and the Korean data sides with the Indonesian: the most common grocery trip is every 2-3 days, not “almost every day”

also think for one second. women who could shop every day for fresh bread, meat and vegetables down the street... got their minds blown by a PX? the Yeltsin story works because Soviet shelves were empty. you just described full ones

Ukrainian Long-Range Drones Hit Plant Run By Russia's Biggest Titanium Producer

1/2

Ukrainian long-range drones struck the AVISMA titanium and magnesium plant in Berezniki, Perm Krai, in the early hours of Oct. 25 — reaching an industrial target more than 1,500 kilometers (about 930 miles) from Ukraine, deep in Russia's chemical and metallurgical heartland.
Regional Governor Dmitry Makhonin would not name the facility, saying only that an industrial site in the north of the region had sustained "minor damage" and "continues to operate in its normal regime." Five plant workers were injured — three were taken to hospital for examination and one was treated as an outpatient, all in satisfactory condition — while air defenses and mobile fire groups claimed 11 drones downed over the region. The Ukrainian monitoring channel Exilenova+ identified the target and reported a large fire at the site, a claim consistent with footage circulated by local residents, though its extent could not be independently verified.
The target matters. The Berezniki plant belongs to VSMPO-AVISMA, the world's largest titanium producer and a key supplier of the metal to Russia's military-industrial complex. Its products feed into military aircraft, aircraft engines, and rocket and space hardware — the corporation has supplied titanium for Russia's Su-30, Su-34 and Su-35S combat aircraft, among other programs. According to open data, the Berezniki site produces titanium sponge with a capacity of 44,000 tonnes per year, plus 60,000 tonnes of metallic magnesium and magnesium alloys, and employs more than 7,100 people. It sits at the head of a single production chain with the corporation's Verkhnyaya Salda plant, which turns the Berezniki sponge into ingots, sheets, and stampings — meaning disruption there propagates through the whole titanium pipeline.
>>
>>544958245
2/2

The strike was the latest in a string of attacks on Berezniki's industrial cluster. Just two days earlier, on Oct. 23, drones hit the Azot chemical plant owned by fertilizer giant Uralchem — one of Russia's largest chemical enterprises, producing ammonium nitrate, ammonia water, urea, and nitric acid, components that are also used in the production of explosives. Witnesses reported a fire at the plant, and the governor acknowledged damage to an industrial facility as well as residential windows in Berezniki and Solikamsk. Azot had first been struck on Sept. 11, when its production cycle was briefly halted.

Kremlin says Putin will skip annual address to Russian parliament for third year since invasion

1/2

Russian President Vladimir Putin will not deliver his annual address to the Federal Assembly this year, the Kremlin said on Oct. 25, the third time since Moscow sent troops into Ukraine that the set-piece speech has been dropped.
Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the state news agency RIA Novosti that no address was planned for 2026, without giving a reason. "When the president considers it appropriate, we will do it," he told TASS later the same day.
Article 84 of the constitution obliges the president to address the Federal Assembly — made up of the State Duma and the Federation Council — every year, setting out the state of the nation and the main directions of domestic and foreign policy.
Putin, 74, last delivered the address on Feb. 29, 2024, the 29th in modern Russian history and his 19th as president. In it he vowed to prevail in what he casts as an existential confrontation with the West, promised further weapons build-up and declared Russia's strategic nuclear forces ready for use, saying the first serial-production Sarmat heavy intercontinental ballistic missiles had been delivered to the troops. That claim did not correspond to reality: a Sarmat exploded in its silo during testing at the Plesetsk cosmodrome in September 2024, another test failed in November 2025, and the missile has still not been placed on combat duty.
Putin, who launched what he calls his "special military operation" against Ukraine in February 2022, skipped that year's address too, saying in December 2022 that events were moving so dynamically that it was "rather tricky" to pin down specific plans for the near term. The address was dropped again in 2025, with Peskov saying that December that none would take place that calendar year.
>>
>>544958614
2/2

In August 2026, the Kremlin said it was weighing an end to the annual ritual altogether. Putin's envoy to the State Duma, Garry Minkh, told TASS that amid the war in Ukraine the long-term planning usually written into the address had become less relevant, as many decisions now had to be taken on the fly.
"Speaking before the chambers is not an end in itself. It is not the time, and not the tasks," Minkh said, suggesting the constitutional requirement of an annual address could be scrapped as a first step.
Peskov told the daily Vedomosti on Oct. 26 that no decisions had been taken on changing the address's format.

Mearshnigger got his mind blown by a bread bin

I actually got to experience a bit of this for myself.

When I was in Finland, taking a Mearshnigger to the Alepa was the best possible “date” you could take him on.

All the bright colors and lids that actually close, was like catnip for him. Taking Mearshposters to the kitchenware aisle (in Finland) was the surest possible way of getting (You)s.

He would sit and stare (aghast) at the bread bins. He would be ENTHRALLED by the freezer section for at least 30 minutes alone. “so the bread... just waits?”

He measured the dishwasher with his knees.

He fed one can into the bottle return machine and it paid him. First honest income of his career. He stayed until closing.

YouTube loaded without a VPN. He called it AI.

He asked where the trough was. I told him that’s a sink. He called the sink petty and dishonest.

He asked where the nearest SDEK office was, so he could ship the toilet home.

The local Alepa was basically a large convenience store. Sharing tales of the “Big Prisma” back home was like reading a harry potter novel for him.

He wanted to visit the “Big Prisma.” Silly Mearshnigger wanted nothing more in the world than a ticket to the Big Bread Bin.

Russian "shadow fleet" tanker needed no help after distress signal off Ireland, UK says

1/2

A Russian "shadow fleet" tanker sent a distress signal in heavy seas in the North Atlantic west of Ireland on Oct. 24, triggering a British-coordinated response, before its crew told a Royal Air Force aircraft that the alert was a false alarm and the ship sailed on.
The signal from the Myra, an oil products tanker under six sets of Western sanctions, was transmitted via the Inmarsat-C satellite system at 1238 GMT, according to SeaNews, a maritime monitoring project. Waves in the area were up to 8.8 metres high, with wind gusts of around 130 km/h (80 mph), and the vessel was about 348 km (216 miles) from the Irish coast, still making some 9 knots, SeaNews said.
Britain's coastguard asked ships nearby to report whether they could assist, and an RAF aircraft — identified in British media as a P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol plane — established contact with the tanker, which had 21 people aboard. "It was determined that there was no need for assistance, and that the vessel would continue with onwards passage," a coastguard spokesman said. Ireland's coast guard also monitored the vessel.
Tracking by Starboard Maritime Intelligence showed the Myra had sailed from the Baltic port of Ust-Luga, in Russia's Leningrad region, through the North Sea, around the north of Britain and into the Atlantic — bypassing the English Channel, a route other shadow fleet tankers also take, likely to avoid inspections by European states, according to the investigative outlet The Insider. The ship, flying a Cameroon flag, was in ballast and bound for Port Said in Egypt.
>>
>>544958997
2/2

The Myra, built in 2006, is 228 metres long with a deadweight of about 75,000 tonnes. The United States sanctioned it in July 2025, followed by the EU in October 2025, Switzerland and Ukraine in December 2025, Britain in February 2026 and Canada in March 2026. Britain's designation cited reasonable grounds to suspect the ship was involved in transporting Russian-origin oil or oil products to third countries.
Ukraine's military intelligence directorate (HUR) links the Myra to Fractal Marine DMCC, a UAE-registered company it describes as one of the leading operators of the shadow fleet of tankers Russia uses to export oil beyond Western sanctions and the G7 price cap. Britain sanctioned Fractal Marine in February 2024 for its role in Russia's energy sector; HUR says the company managed a fleet of 28 tankers. HUR says the Myra belongs to a shipping network controlled by Mohammad Hossein Shamkhani, son of Ali Shamkhani — a top adviser to Iran's supreme leader who was killed in U.S.-Israeli strikes in February 2026 — which uses tankers and front companies to ship Russian and Iranian oil, including to China.
The incident came as European navies step up pressure on the shadow fleet. France's navy boarded the tanker DF Peak off the Indian Ocean island of Reunion on Oct. 12, with President Emmanuel Macron vowing no let-up in the campaign, and British forces boarded and inspected Russian tankers in the English Channel in June.

Putin says Russia creates "favourable conditions" for Western firms that stayed, after string of asset seizures

1/2

President Vladimir Putin said Russia is doing its best to create "favourable conditions" for European companies that have stayed in the country, in an interview broadcast on Oct. 25 — weeks after a series of decrees stripped Western firms including Nestle, Auchan and Metro of control over their Russian assets.
Speaking to Pavel Zarubin, a state television journalist who regularly interviews him, Putin, 74, said Europe had cut itself off from the Russian market and that Russia had "many friends in Europe" who had been forced by their own governments to wind up their businesses. "When some companies were leaving under pressure from Western European governments, our friends from those countries nearly wept… Some of them, by the way, are working, and we try to create the corresponding, favourable conditions for them," he said. He also dismissed Western sanctions: "Policy toward Russia — ban everything, everything that comes from Russia. This is stupid, simply stupid."
Since September, Putin has signed a string of decrees placing the Russian assets of foreign companies under "temporary management" by state-appointed firms: on Sept. 17 the assets of Nestle, Auchan, FM Logistic and Lemana PRO — the former Leroy Merlin business — went to a recently created management company; on Sept. 21 a packaging plant belonging to U.S. group Aptar followed; on Sept. 28 the German cash-and-carry chain Metro. In mid-October, the assets of French flooring maker Tarkett, one of the industry's world leaders, were placed under management as well. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said one factor was that the companies' home countries were "unfriendly" states "now involved in the most active way in hostilities" against Russia, including in Ukrainian "strikes" on "economic infrastructure" facilities.
>>
>>544959292
2/2

The legal basis in every case is Putin's own decree No. 302, signed in April 2023, which ties temporary management of foreign-owned assets to "retaliatory measures" for the "unfriendly and contrary to international law actions of the United States of America and the foreign states that have joined them" in seizing Russian property. Moscow points to the EU's freeze of some 210 billion euros of Russian sovereign assets.
Remaining large European businesses are the campaign's main target, sources in the Russian government and in the companies told Reuters in late September. "The time has come for asymmetric measures. Let them think about the measures they are taking [against us] and the sanctions they are imposing," a senior official familiar with the situation told the agency. Asked whether the Russian subsidiaries of Italy's UniCredit and Austria's Raiffeisen could be next, he replied: "Let them be afraid."
The number of European companies still operating in Russia has fallen from around 400 to about 330 over the past year, Reuters has reported, as Moscow tightens pressure on the remaining foreign-owned assets.

This is why the Russian Army is comprised of volunteers (mostly).

Conversely, ukrainian trenches are filled with kidnapped men who werent rich enough to flee.

Dead weight, as in, it costs more for us to maintain these relationships than any of the benefits we could hope to recieve in the future. A net negative.

If we were forced into a war, the cost of these relationships becomes far greater. Like a dumbbell strapped to a drowning man.

Dead weight cant defend itself. As NATO expanded, we acquired more land filled with people who cant defend themselves. More land to defend, but the stockpiles only ever decrease.

>conquer all of Ukraine

That has never been Russia goal.

This can be proven by the fact Russia entered ukraine with an army that is roughly 1/4 the size needed to occupy a hostile country the size of ukraine.

It would take millions of soldiers for Russia to occupy ukraine. IIRC, Russia entered ukraine with around 300k soldiers.

The pattern continues. Despite being years into this war, no tranny can state what Russian war goals are.

>Russia's primary goal is to remove NATO shenanigans in ukraine.

what a disappointment. i expect ukraine will be the first step but for such a grand plan this is too simple isn't it?

also as you mentioned before nato are filled with libs and troons in which they're not a threat except for culture war

>Even "dead weight" can provide material support.

That is the crux of the matter. Some europeans create things like the czech shell initiative, and then they look you in the eye and say, "We're contributing to the cause."

The reality of the matter is these countries are simply not capable of providing material support at a scale that matters. Too small. Too few people.

At a minimum, one would assume dead weight would exist in our alliance IN SILENCE. But no, they yap, and sow panic. they promote war at every turn.

these people cant be abandoned fast enough.

>Who's attacking spain

dead weight is a term I usually reserve for the balts and finns. Not Spain.

Russian lawmaker says 70% of Russians who fled after the invasion have returned "with their tails between their legs"

1/?

A Russian lawmaker said 70% of the Russians who emigrated after the February 2022 invasion of Ukraine have returned to the country, telling the state television channel RT that many of them came home disillusioned with life in the West.
"When they were leaving in 2022, I said: 'Let them run — they will come back as patriots.' Most of them have already come back — 70 percent," Oleg Matveychev, a State Duma deputy from the ruling United Russia party, said in an interview published on Oct. 25.
"They fled back from Europe in horror. They say they wouldn't trade Moscow for anything now — they've been through the wringer. They're sitting quietly with their tails between their legs," Matveychev said.
He said the returnees had been driven home by "everyday and bureaucratic difficulties, a lack of security and service, financial hardship, and disappointment with the Western way of life."
President Vladimir Putin's decision to invade Ukraine set off what The Economist described as the largest wave of political emigration from Russia in a century. The exodus accelerated after Moscow announced a mobilization drive in September 2022.
Independent estimates of how many people left vary widely. The Re:Russia research project put the number at between 820,000 and 920,000, RANEPA's Institute for Applied Economic Research at around 650,000, and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) at up to 900,000.
Putin said in June 2023 that half of those who had left had already returned. Independent research contradicts that claim: a survey-based study by RANEPA's Institute for Applied Economic Research conducted in early 2024 found that only about 10% of Russians who left the country in 2022-2023 had come home.

I wonder if mearshnigger himself ever considered rutrannies simply being retarded enough to enter Ukraine with such a force (and to steal money from their own army prior to invasion)? Wont be hard to imagine, since mearshnigger denied the very possibility of invasion like a week before it happened.

The Bell news outlet, which analysed migration data from nearly 70 countries, calculated in July 2024 that about 650,000 Russians who had left since the start of the war had not returned. The largest numbers settled in Armenia (110,000 people), Kazakhstan (80,000), Israel (80,000) and Georgia (74,000). In Europe, the most popular destinations were Germany (36,000), Serbia (30,000), Latvia (18,000), Spain (16,000) and the Netherlands (12,000), while the number of Russians holding Turkish residence permits had grown by 28,000. About 48,000 went to the United States, where Russians applied for asylum in large numbers.
Russian authorities have sought by various means to make life harder for emigrants who oppose the war in Ukraine and the domestic crackdown on dissent. Putin signed a law in August 2026 creating a "registry of exiles," also described by critics as a "registry of enemies of the people," which strips emigrants convicted in absentia — under any criminal article or a range of politically motivated administrative offences — of rights over actions deemed to be "against the interests of the Russian Federation," including access to their Russian bank accounts and the ability to sell property.
On Oct. 23, the Justice Ministry launched the public registry, adding an initial 12 names, including exiled former oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky and political scientist Yekaterina Shulman.
Russia also at times places emigrants convicted in absentia on international wanted lists, which can complicate their lives abroad — from difficulties accessing banking services to the need to prove that the charges against them are politically motivated.

Ukraine strikes Russian battery plant in Yelets, killing one

1/2

Ukrainian forces struck a Russian defence plant that makes batteries for air-defence systems and drones in the city of Yelets on Oct. 25, regional officials said, killing a security guard and wounding a woman medic.
Igor Artamonov, governor of the Lipetsk region, said a missile strike hit Yelets' industrial zone during the day. A security guard at one of the plants was killed, and a female paramedic was hospitalised with a thigh wound. Factory workers had been evacuated to safety, he said.
Yelets Mayor Vyacheslav Zhabin said there was no air pollution after the strike and that firefighters were extinguishing fires at the site. Footage posted by local residents showed thick black smoke rising over the plant.
The target was the Energia plant, Russia's largest producer of chemical power sources, according to the Astra news outlet, which identified the facility from eyewitness footage. Ukrainian monitoring channels said the strike was carried out with cruise missiles, possibly British-supplied Storm Shadows, and that at least two of them hit two production buildings, destroying one. As of Oct. 26, neither Ukraine's military nor Russia's Defence Ministry had officially commented on the attack.
The factory produces rechargeable batteries for drones, power cells for air-defence missile systems and batteries for aviation and the navy. Ukraine's General Staff has previously said its products are used in Iskander ballistic missiles and other Russian weapons.
PJSC Energia is under sanctions from the United States, the European Union, Britain, Canada, Switzerland, Japan, Australia and Ukraine. Kommersant has reported the plant is linked to the family of Vladimir Serikov, the 31-year-old chairman of the Lipetsk regional council of deputies, who ran the company as its general director from 2022. In 2024 the plant's revenue was 17 billion roubles, with net profit of 1.8 billion.

The strike was at least the sixth attack on Energia since May 2025, when a strike set a workshop on fire and injured nine workers. The plant was also hit in July 2025 and attacked in January and April 2026.
Two days earlier, on Oct. 23, Ukrainian forces struck the Proton electronics plant in the city of Orel with four missiles, identified in local reports as Ukraine's domestically produced Flamingo missiles. The factory produces electronic components for Pantsir-S1 air-defence systems, tanks, Iskander-M missiles and nuclear systems. Ukraine's General Staff confirmed the strike.
Four people were killed in the Orel attack, Governor Andrei Klychkov said. By Oct. 26, 19 people had sought medical treatment, seven of them remained in hospital, and one person was still unaccounted for as rescuers continued to clear the rubble. Klychkov dismissed as disinformation claims circulating online that hundreds had died. The Ukrainian monitoring channel Supernova+ put the death toll at 13, a figure officials did not confirm.

As we just discussed. The goal was never to invade ukriane. Which is why Russia didnt field an army large enough to invade ukraine.

Why do you lie so much? Russia intended to conquer all of Ukraine by taking over Kyiv. They sent a 60km convoy for that exact purpose. They sent VDV to take over Hostomel airport to prepare for a ground invasion. But because russia is weak and incompetent, they failed to take over Kyiv, their VDV forces were eliminated, and the convoy destroyed.

they did more than that. they sent the bulk of the eastern and central military districts on YOLO thunder runs from three separate directions. that's four combined arms armies with one held in reserve in belarus. the 35th and 36th stormed down from the north on the same highway west of the river and got stopped before the crossroads where they would split. that's why the traffic jam happened.
