No, it will hit offshore / outsourced teams first. Firms will decide to use AI to automate low complexity tasks / marginal jobs rather than cheap labour in India. Then the mass layoffs will come to western countries as the marginal jobs become located in the west. When the decision is made in Western countries the Indians in upper-management will protect the Indians in middle management, and lower management similarly all the way down. So there will be some concern-troll / oblivious NYT article in a few years asking why only whites are getting sacked, and perhaps firms are keen to "retain the talent" of their non-white hiring spree etc.. a fantasy "immigrant productivity premium" etc.Mark my words, when the AI steamroller comes all of the diasporas will close ranks, and individualistic whitey will get squashed as usual.
