What are your solutions for reintegrating prisoners into society once they have served their sentences?

>>544965106that's a museum now,. not a prison.
I think going back to corporal punishment would help. One problem with jailing alone as punishment is that you're expecting criminals to perceive the future as something that can be lost, and unfortunately there are people too stupid to conceptualize that as a threat. Another is that bringing criminals together long term creates a culture, meaning they come out worse.

>>544965106send them to india after injecting them with turbo HIV
>>544965106Put them on the front lines like russia does
>>544965466I'm actually a huge proponent of expatriation. My understanding is that the Democratic Republic of Congo is in desperate need of an injection of economic dynamism. They and countries like them would gladly take our excess doctors, engineers, and entrepreneurs off our hands from us for the cost of what locking them up here for a year would cost. Blue collar, white collar, violent, habitual petty offender. They don't care. Just send them and about 40K and they'll take good care of them in an environment much more conducive to their nature than ours.Watch the crime rate fall off a cliff overnight. If criminality can negate constitutional rights, then why not citizenship?
>>544965106It needs to start before that. You can't just lock someone up surrounded by other criminals and kept in a cage for 10 years and then dump them onto the street and expect them to just magically be ready to be a productive member of society when they were treated like an animal for the last decade in a low trust environment. The programs to help people rise above crime needs to start while they are still in prison. Education, skills training, probably no small amount of psychiatry. If they have a viable way forward once they are out of prison that doesn't involve crime, they are going to be way less likely to return to crime to make do. If they didn't have any job skills when they went in and they still don't have any when they come out, realistically what the fuck are you expecting to happen next? Its not like being an ex-convict is going to make them MORE employable.
>>544965106put them to work in the mines
>>544969088But... that's how the left thinks... we are on four chan bro. You can't say that.
>>544965106They need isolation. The idea of prison needs changed. Now they just hang out and fuck. They need individual separate pods in which they have no outside contact with the world of other humans. And they remain in that dark little hole of non existence until they break and become something worthy or they go mad and can be disposed of properly. You should fear prison. Nothing breaks a human better than aloneness. Criminals are governed by their ego and little else. If this is dissolved even forcefully you'll change the inner state and thus rearrange their outward behavior. It is brutal yes. But a man that slaughters innocents doesn't exactly deserve gentleness.
