Rather than sift through the poorly-regulated raceplay pornography, I will now be making my own threads to ask (You) the news directly. Please post the news you find relevant here. No trolling please, this is very serious (seriously).

NASA updated their plan for Artemis III next year recently, the Orion spacecraft will dock with Blue Origin's lander (as of yet not unveiled) and stay for a couple days before undocking and transferring to a SpaceX Starship lander (only partially unveiled so far).

Is this to be a manned mission? If not, why should anyone care? The world is poised on the brink of ruin.

the new Claude Opus 5.5 that came out in the last couple months is a big revelation in terms of software. At this point anyone with a triple digit IQ can make real use of it. It basically can reverse engineer/copy any software and it's ability to hack hardware is getting a lot of attention. This is the most interesting thing going on right now.

.........Hope Goycattle is up to date with their boosters. Surely they didn't forget about Covid just because CNN stopped talking about it daily? (lol)

I'm interested in more of this. The consensus on /g/ seemed to be that last week's hacks were a nothingburger; however, power outages and talks of cyber pandemics are coming out with auspicious timing...
>>
>>544971715
How does this compare with cases of the Common Cold and Influenza?
>>
>>544971801
mega-hacks and cyber-pandemics and that shit are all hype and PR. I'm talking about how everyone is gutting their smart tv's and figuring out that you can write custom os and drivers for any hardware devices. also making apps, doing things like porting old apps that used to be good to new operating systems, removing all of the corpo garbage, etc.
>>
i shit my pants

>>544971609
you are just upset because this board is no longer pro-migger
>>
>>544971902
You correctly pointed out its hacking capability. Do you think certain interested parties wouldn't exploit this under the guise of a rogue AI? We saw with COVID that Bill Gates can't keep his big mouth shut about his plans (and why should he? The goycattle will all line up for their boosters). Now he's airing concerns about cyber pandemics. You're saying that's a nothingburger?
>>
>>544972023
I'm only upset that I'm no longer pro-migger. Trump betrayed everybody and that should upset anyone who voted for him.

it's 48 degrees in Federal Way Washington, with light showers off and on through the morning. Expect the skies to clear up somewhat by the afternoon, with a high of 58, and a low of 45 tonight, with a 51% chanceof showers into the morning. More at 10.

computer security has been a joke for like 14 years. Once Snowden released what state actors were doing there was no point in pretending. Most of the exploits being revealed right now are just backdoors the NSA installed.

>>544972166
sounds like Bibi is definitely going to lose. it would be incredible if those retards re-elected him tbqh.

That's not the tune Sam Altman is singing. He made it sound like the hacks AI is inventing are beyond what conventional computer science can even describe. Not that I trust him necessarily, but what is your response?

>Is this to be a manned mission?
Yes, but only to high Earth orbit. This mission is to demonstrate docking with the two company's landers ahead of Artemis IV, which will be a lunar landing.
>>
>>544972574
Interesting. Is there a current timeline for Artemis IV?
>>
>>544971525
Pretty cool. They should make a memorial to the human race on the moon, so that aliens find us they can learn about how minorities kept us out of space until we went extinct.

>The Witcher 3 DLC will have new gwent cards with new mechanics and is going to be released in 2027
>The Witcher 4 is expected to release some time in 2028.
>Space Engineers 2 will have more content pumped out for it throughout next year and should be finished in 2029, but it's in a playable state and they just added hostile encounters. Buy now or later, its skeleton is constructed and it runs well and looks good.
>Kenshi 2 is still in production and I'm guessing it could be finished around 2029 at the earliest or 2032 at the latest.
>Umamusume: Pretty Derby will have caught up to the Japanese version by around 2034 so it's a good strat to do dailies/events and save all of your carats and you will be able to get full best in slot and have every uma 5 starred via free to play and also a mountain of carats.
>Zomboid NPCs will be added in build 43 and we're in build 42 now, so expect them some time in 2027 at the earliest or 2028 at the latest.
>Warhammer 40k total war is looking atrocious, and it could spell the end of Creative Assembly for good. Their DLC-mill style of production seems to have bitten them in the arse.
>Dawn of War 4 is looking equally as bad and appears to be another DLC mill, however it will have the Last Stand mode from DoW2 so there's fun to be had.
>Darktide is expecting to release Sisters of Battle, unknown date, and unconfirmed only datamined.
>Medieval 3 may never see release, production has been stopped.
>>
>>544972946
Stronghold 4 will be out soon, also*

2028 is the tentative. They have to prove that the docking/etc workin 2027 first. It will be within the next couple of years though. Pretty interesting times for space. China might be us there, I'd suggest keeping an eye on their program too.

Sometimes they say too much and reveal their hand. Why shouldn't you keep a finger on that pulse? Not saying to trust them.
>>544973585
Thanks for the info. Maybe this will lead to commercial space travel in our lifetimes. Have you ever investigated warp drive technology? Alcubierre drive + Casimir effect seems like a promising principle, just needs to be scaled and powered. If ITER ever makes any headway on fusion that could be one piece of the puzzle.
>>
>>
>>544973732
I think an improved understanding of physics will enable distant space travel before too long.

Anon sirs,
Do not redeem tales of woe from AI companies.
Their goal is to force gov regulation which means they get immunity from lawsuits. The tranny that shot up a school here for example wasn't flagged by OpenAI so the govt sued them to build an entire new school and every family sued them too. With regulations they become immune hence why everyday Anthropic or OpenAI say omg the world is doooomed we must regulate our monopolies.

imagine the incompetence of leaking the entire database of crimestoppers tips, i think they said 50 % of tipsters identities were leaked and the police were storing them barely secure for decades. Utter retardation, imagine the chilling effect this could have on snitches knowing they'll be exposed. 30 % of these cases involved drugs and or organized crime.

>News
NFL game in France went off without a hitch proving that the riots are fake and gay. The police can turn them on and off at will.
>economy
The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s national activity index climbed to 0.07 in September, from minus 0.08 in August. Readings above zero indicate that the U.S. economy is expanding above its historical average trend rate.

Paris is a very large city and even with major riots it's not like you can't hold a sporting event in some other part of town. The deteriorating situation is very real and will continue, as will many spectacles of normal life. In fact the more out of hand the rioting and protesting gets the more the normies will cling to mundane life to maintain a sense of normalcy and denial.

It will be too cold soon for Africans to riot but I watched your 90 days of Floyd chimpouts and they were identical with police told to not interfere. Once they became a problem for Biden's campaign they were shut down immediately like turning off a tap.
Same goes for France if the 'France in Rebellion' political party loses support they will magically switch off the riots too as these things require paid organization
>>
>>544975344
I think the French riots started organic, but put in their own paid protesters to amplify and subvert the public perception of it to being about migrants and niggers

News:
There’s an impending feeling of doom, like everyone’s expecting another 9/11. No one knows why they feel it. They just do. Waiting every single day for the other shoe to drop, it’s mentally and physically exhausting. It’s PTSD and it’s real. We live in a sick society, we’re desensitized to things no human should ever see. It’s sad that we can’t just come home at night and relax without worry.

Hopefully we get out of the dark energy/dark matter/M-theory ditch that's been dug for too long. I think fractal universe theories are pretty compelling. I've seen the Landé g-factor explained to higher precision than simple QED by using dimensional arguments with the gravitational constant. Essentially saying the universe is a lepton on the next Planck scale up from the scale we experience, and there are also universes in the scales down from what we experience. Cosmic redshift is explained using zitterbewegung on the higher scale; we are in an expansion phase but eons from now we'll enter a contraction phase.

So many fascinating arguments outside of the "convention". Too goyische for mainstream science, unfortunately.

>The UN only wants to solve global warming by enslaving you in a global communist prison, and not the actual way, which is population reduction (less people, less c02 activity).
>>Give me the answer to 2+2, but you can't say 4.
>So the UN is basically reddlt tier. They specifically do not want to reduce the population since the population constantly increasing decreases individual pay, and increases rent/housing prices (supply & demand) therefore the individual is empowered. They want you poor and working all day, since they see you as slaves.
