108k income in a suburb in PA. Sole provider for a family of 4. We're not poor, but we're also not rich and since the aftermath of COVID I really can't put as much aside for retirement as I'd want. Once both kids are in school I'm hoping my wife can find something that would pay 50-60k a year and then we'd be real good.
But yeah - 100k isn't what it used to be. Growing up in the 90s, 100k income was how you knew someone was loaded. That 100k in 1995 is 225k today, according to an official inflation calculator. The USD is fucked up.
