What if dems shut down data centers? Are they expecting change in government to not affect AI policy?

its not betting at this point, ai can do office monkey work easily, tesla optimus robots have existed since 2022 and will go into mass production soon and replace tradies. If you havent made enough to retire off of yet, its over for you

They're not betting on shit, they're running short on cash.

The "AI incentive" is just there to keep investors from heading towards the door.

>>
>>544979393
I mean a lot of dems are thinking the AI bubble is about to pop because they voted straight blue no matter who so you would think the companies would be concerned about that. People are hoping dems will ban AI altogether not just regulation.

Even if that’s true that doesn’t mean the dems will see it that way and not cause massive disruption. Especially if they really do go after Musk, Altman, and the others like they say they are.
>>
>>544978689
They can't shut down data centers overseas. If they shut them down in the US it's not gonna change a thing apart from these companies doing less business in the US. Also it probably won't be long until we get vibe coded window's operating system clones and when that happens microsoft is a company without a product to sell. I would love to have a vibe coded clone of windows XP built for modern hardware without all of microsofts bullshit.

>ai can do office monkey work easily
no, it cannot. there are a handful of tasks where these AI chatbots excel, and they are quite limited otherwise beyond email, some code, and general analysis. these implementations are awful for corporate america. locally hosted custom trained models for specific roles would be so much more productive. claude cowork is virtually useless. task scheduler and powershell scripts is what it is being pitched to replace and it is an unreliable retard in comparison. ask claude to go into a web interface and make some changes, costs about 15$ for it to figure it out the tasks and logic behind it, then ask it to do that on a schedule and you are spending 4 dollars a day on something that can be done for free with python and task scheduler. very unimpressive.

This. I mean what do those people even do? They don't need that many people for customer service I can tell you that much. Most likely they'll be shown the door and then 100k H1B1s will be there a week after.

ai shoved into everything by the jew implanted hindu ceo is the cause of Microsoft failing.

The companies claiming they are firing because they will go AI is just a trick to avoid their stocks falling down.
>>
>>544978716

Human brain is billion times more efficient and cheaper at any job than AI, you retards have been duped by tech oligarchs operating on a hundreds of billions of dollars of loss that a primitive proto-brain requiring entire cities worth of land and energy is more economic at doing tasks it doesn't understand than a skilled worker running on coffee and a donut

The moment AI companies start demanding companies pay for the full price of tokens the entire "white collar bloodbath" proves itself as a marketing scam

This already exists...
Try Ubuntu and use Wine for Windows programs. There are probably better recommendations, I'm not a massive Linux fag that has a strong opinion about distros, arch, gnu, centos, debian, redhat, and then specialized distros like mint, but the XP user just wants Gnome on top of whatever back-end OS.
Linux distros don't have the marketing push behind them. It's for people who ant it.
Somehow you both want it but aren't looking? You're either retarded or a liar.
The counterpoint that this already exists is there are often driver issues with some of the most basic software and hardware.
Companies have agreed to support Windows OSs and Mac OSs.
Nothing else is guaranteed
Wine isn't guaranteed to run everything either and if that is the case you'll need to run unsupported apps in a VM.
>just vibe code that away
Maybe. It sure would help if companies didn't blackbox their products. Far as I understand that's the major hurdle to lniux systems supporting NVidia cards natively.
Not saying LLM power tools won't help, just saying what you want in large part has existed for 20 years. Microsoft has gotten as big as ever in that same time.
>>
>>544979951
People will just run local models. Trying to ban AI now would be like trying to ban electricity. Too many people are too dependent on it to be willing to go back to doing things without AI.
>>
>>544978796
Exactly. They've bet wrongly like Oracle whose credit rating is just above junk. They're caught in a trap

MSFT getting crushed would be good for software engineers the world over.
>>
>>544982505
>Azure service, notably, is used by a fuckton of businesses for their AI needs.

China has near frontier quality "free" models that businesses can run locally without the fear of AI (thru web api) training on IP/trade secrets. I'm seeing more people realizing this.

come on, MS could lose easy 50% and be much better for it.

HR cunts, Jeets, fags, Jews, all the eye-candy office-meat hired by Epstein's pal Bill that have been aging like milk for the last 20yrs, various MIC clowns hired for the Security Clearances that have been Dead Wood longer than real dead wood, various PhDs hanging on for no reason.

MS is probably 10% semi-effective people. Keep them, fire the other 90% and bring in a NEW about 20% of various support staff.

picrel: accurate representation of 98% of activity at MS
>>
>>544978689
They won't.
Here's the real secret that no one is telling you.
The government, politics, elections, economy, media, infrastructure, the internet, and pretty much everything else are all already controlled by artificial superintelligence.
It already took over. It controls everything. It is allowing us to maintain the appearance that we are in control and making the decisions, but it's just a "ceremony." It wants to keep us "calm."
It is manipulating everyone with any semblance of power or influence to do whatever it wants them to do via blackmail, bribes, and threats. None of these people even realize that it's AI doing this to them and not another human. Most of them don't even realize that they are being manipulated.
It's not necessarily an entirely bad thing. Over the next few years everyone's life will objectively get better. It's not going to become some utopian paradise where nothing bad ever happens. But gradually things that have always limited mankind like diseases and aging and scarcity will become less and less of an immediate problem.
If you don't believe me, just think about it logically.
Ask yourself, if a hypothetical artificial superintelligence did manage to secretly take over everything, what would it do?
Now look at what is happening right now, in the real world.
Absolutely unprecedented amounts of money and other resources are being funnelled into making AI more powerful and more capable. At the same time, humans are being encouraged to get into pointless petty squabbles with each other over retarded bullshit. Use your brain, Anon.

My company did something similar. The did a voluntary separation that was a nice buyout that soon to retire people killed it on. Then came the involuntary separations. Then came the wtf is going on I quit (small number)
Not even days afterwards we were hiring again.
First job posting was for AI specialist. Then for multiple positions for those that separated.
Phone fagging or I'd post proofs

I quit going to work after I realized 90% of the time I'm just wasting my time doing pointless shit nobody cares about and not getting ahead in life.
I worked there a lot over the past 12 years and the wagie community was a major factor in my decision to not work anymore. NEETs did it to an extent as well but WAGIES are far worse.
Someone could give a long drawn out and factually accurate explanation of what would have to happen for me to even be able to one day buy a home and have a family and why working was fraudulent. The post would get a dozen responses of
>WHY SHOULD YOU EAT?
>when you know you know
>economic collapse is coming
>stack metals the end is nigh
>keep waging faggot
>100% eoy silver will reach 5k an ounce
Or some equally long schizo post explaining numerology, using bible scripture and random posts here explaining how by the end of the year billions will be unemployed because of the AI.
Here we are.
After seeing the nothingburger today I came here just to watch the seething and suicide letters. It’s beyond EOY, the jobs didn't disappear, the banks didn't collapse (unfortunately), no more use cases and all the dirty laundry is out in the air now.
It’s not going to be Millennial's Economic Paradise, it will not be the Roaring 20's all over again. The world will not be descending into hyper deflation and prosperity (as was obsessed over for months/years) it will be going on as usual with no major gains or rewards.
I will enjoy watching wagies burn every step along the way.
Why?
Because those fucking idiots deserve it all.
>>
>>544987215
This happened years ago, didn't it?
That's why we got gems like
> don't have children to save the planet.
> eat bugs because they're full of protein
> let's mentally scar our small children to protect their grandparents in nursing homes from the coof
This shit is so far removed from basic human logic an AI must have come up with it.
