And whilst they will also escalate the intensity upwards (creating elaborate art for example) the intensity downwards will also escalate infinitely. Anything evil any human has ever done you can think of will become widespread, normalized and further developed to become even more sinister. It's simply not worth it. Plus humans already struggle to find purpose as is, if you take further responsibility away from them, they will go crazy because existing for the sake of existing is maddening. And yes, I'm aware that we already exist just for the sake of existing but most people never actually realize that and couldn't handle realizing it. What do you think would happen?
