There’s all this talk of how “neocons” like Bush, Cheney, etc. were allegedly pure evil and that America needs to be purged of anything “neocon.” But how were they really all that worse than what America has now with Trump? The 2000s seemed incredibly blissful compared to today. I get that people were upset about the Iraq War but was that really the fault of the neocons or just typical American imperialism?Also, the “Straussian cabal” doesn’t exist, but if it did, so what?
