There's a reason countries don't sell land ever. It's the one resource that will run out. And as such the true price is very high. No one will sell land size of Alaska for just 165 million dollars in today's money. No one will sell Alaska for even 165 billion today. The true cost of land is what I like to call the "Bakhmut price" or to put it simply how much Russia spent to get Bakhmut. Russia spent 1.2 billion dollars and 60K men to get Bakhmut which is 16 square miles in size. That means that every single square mile valued at 75 million dollars and 3750 lives. And guess what Putin would gladly pay that price again with a smile. He is very happy about this deal. That means that the real purchase price of Alaska would be 49.75 TRILLION dollars and 2.5 billion lives.
>There's a reason countries don't sell land ever.I'm not even gonna read the rest of this shitty thread. I know we're supposed to take OP's word as divine truth but this is too historically retarded to tolerate.
>>545058310There's a reason why Danes didn't sell Greenland in 40s and 50s despite being offered 10 times what US paid for Alaska. And had USA not bought Alaska it would have stayed Russian or become part of Canada.Only fair offer USA ever offered for Greenland was Trump's suggestion of giving Puerto Rico for Greenland.
>>545058203You have to look at the VALUE of the underground resources and their relevance... because nobody gives a flying fuck about some frozen, godforsaken Finnish wasteland...The price would be much lower... I’d value Alaska at, perhaps, 6–7 trillion dollars...Leaving aside latent transport potential that could only be realized in the distant future—such as a transcontinental transport loop passing through Alaska, connecting the two Americas to the other continents by land via a system of bridges and tunnels for high-speed transport—this is a prospect for some 500 years from now, if not longer.
For some reason I never see europeans discussing banking and fiat currency. You realize your money is a fake token being used by bankers as a social credit system and resource allocation system to run your society from the top down? I really wonder why anyone would want to be in the EU.
>>545058203Land shouldn't be sold, it should be assigned at birth. Every German man (ethnically verified) should get at least 1ha at birth.
>>545059748Your money is equally fake
>>545060497I see americans talking about our fake money all the time. I never see euros talking about it.
