Importing beef is what caused the price spike in the first place. Trump and his jew masters tried to prop up that retard christkike in Argentina by buying Argentinian beef. Doing so caused indie US beef producers to go out of business.
>>
>>545058654
this is simply because of the greed of american ranchers
they're exporting beef for higher prices, and making their countrymen pay for it
literally fuck farmers. they should be nationalized
>>
>>545058732
Wait I’ve heard of nationalized farms! It works out really well historically.
>>
>>545058654
meanwhile
my beef cows, feeder pigs and chickens cost me almost exactly zero more dollars to feed, raise, and process
cityfags btfo again
>>
>>545058654
>diesel doubles in price
>farming is now more expensive due to all the machines needed for farming getting twice as expensive to run
No shit?
>>
>>545058654
Trump will tell you he doesn't give a shit about this because he has enough money to pay for fancy steaks anyway and besides - Beef Megacorpo tm is making heaps of money from this!

Unless you have first looked at the US beef herd size chart you are not qualified to post on this topic.

>ummm akshually I don't use diesel or fertiliser for any of my farming and diesel and fertiliser isn't used in the production or transport of any of the shit I buy
Convinced no one migalarper

Trump has done almost everything conveivably, retardedly possible to raise the price of beef.
>tariffs and countertariffs
>fuck with the up/down cycle by importing beef that was previously banned (counteracting the purpose of tariffs except for this particular good lmao)
>Iran war
>general inflation due to all of the above eating into small herds and running them out of business
It's pretty amazing how badly he handled all of it. If he did absolutely nothing things would be better, and really that's the best we can hope for for another 2 years.

I still remember being able to get Mcdoubles in like 2018 for barely over $1

it's never ever coming back unless there is a ww3 or something
>>
>>545059067
I’m sure his one cow, one pig and one chicken aren’t that affected.
>>
>>545058654
Unlike Australia who actually suck at farming New Zealand will happily sell you all the beef that you need
>>
>>545058654
this actually makes GDP numbers go up, sounds like a win

>it's the fault of the ranchers!
>it's not because a few companies own all the meat processing plants and underpay for cattle while also charging outrageous sums!

I forgot
>new world screw worm (not quite Trump's fault but he was at the helm and making cuts when it happened)
>drought
>ongoing inflation previous to Trump
It's a confluence of long-running issues, but that orange faggot has been nothing but bad news for the whole thing.
>>
>>545058654
Cost me like $18 for a fucking steak burrito and $100 to put gas in my truck. I want to kill all miggers on site.
>>
>>545058890
>diesel doubles in price
>farming is now more expensive
only for large foreign owned factory farms, I don't realize much of a cost difference. I process everything locally so not much fuel costs. I'm not trucking cows to some feed lot in the mid west for putting on grain and the shipping off again to be butchered.
I don't give a fuck where you live, you can find at least semi-local meat. pork can be harder, but a quarter, half, or full beef is cheap all things considered
>>545059067
>t. Sydney faggot sitting in an apartment
>>545059065
>US beef herd size
not wrong, but there are a lot of factors outside of what most people fear monger. the fact calf survivability and making it to market weight is significantly higher than years ago is a large part of it. that is a good thing, but God forbid it is brought up.
>>
>>545059164
Yeah that's basically what I got from his post too
>>
>>545059290
>doesn't even attempt to explain how none of his farming or supplies uses diesel or fertiliser
Larp confirmed
>>
>>545058654
Chicken eaters rise up!
>>
>>545058654
Yeah maybe cause Democrat governors and mayors are imposing a complete ban on red meat in their states and cities to such an extent that its production becomes economically unviable, forcing meat producers to cut back on production and driving up prices for everyone, not just liberals.
>>
>>545058654
Elk Chad's we eating good!

>I’m sure his one cow, one pig and one chicken
kek, they are social animals. I keep six pigs for myself at all times. I don't sell pork (USDA bullshit reasons). I give it away to family and friends, but we eat a fuckton of it in my house too. Beef we have inspected for resale. chickens are just for eggs, its the only meat we buy and it is very little of it.
>>545059395
>fertiliser
I'm not growing corn dumb fuck. I'm more worried about a drought, which we were in for some time, which impacts my bahia grass. It is resilient but heat will eventually get it. winter rye is still about the same. You can spread seed with a side by side, you don't need a $200k tractor. Hay went high as fuck during covid and never came down. I need very little hay, hard to say if it has went up much. A lot of land and only a few cows/calves helps.
I've got a pond with a fish feeder, the cost of that has gone up, they can eat each other if it were to ever get that bad. deer corn is up, but you are retarded to not buy it straight from the grain bin.
feed for horses is up, but that is because of little Molly in the suburbs that had to have a pony and daddy will pay anything to keep it fed. fuck horses
>>
>>545059610
The hell are you talking about?
>>
>>545059610
you the same retard who tried to say that democrats are all banning private vehicles last night? then when you got caught in your web of retarded posts you just stopped posting? Hopefully you're getting paid for this, at least that would be stupid instead of sad and stupid

>only a few cows/calves

Well there it is
Larp farmer confirmed
>>
>>545060697
>only a few cows/calves
nigger, I know people with only one because that is all they need. I'm surrounded by small herd ranchers that only sell to the public. I'd say average size of those is 25 to maybe 50 head. the have been selling for generations so it isn't a market I even care to break into.
You can take your A9 "wagyu" and shove it up your ass
>>
>>545059199
Didn't your Maori government ban the use of nitrogen fertilisers? Not that you guys can afford to buy it nowadays anyway.
>>
>>545059093
Trump went back in time to the late 1970s and decided that the size of the US cattle herd was going to continually decline in size from then on?
>>

Cargill execs should be treated like the cattle in their facilities.
We buy from local ranchers
