From these many other things flow in a healthy way. Still plenty of room for leisure time and industry, but when the worst comes no one's left as dependent on systems. Extremely doable even now, but having leadership that keeps that as a focus is very different from just hoping children pass on good values and skills. Post-apocalypse presents a very good opportunity for building back from the basics.
