Why do so many Holocaust deniers appeal to empiricism and “just following the facts” when their own ideological commitments often precede their conclusions?
There's an obvious tension between claiming to be a detached, objective observer and being invested in a worldview that determines which evidence you accept.
If contradictory evidence is always dismissed as fabricated or part of a conspiracy, are you really being a positivist, or just LARPing as an empiricist?
Can you reconcile the two, or is the appeal to objectivity just a rhetorical tool?

You don't even need to engage with pilpul. Just post these Bible verses in their entirety or in part. You don't even need to elaborate.
