Live in Florida and for years impact windows are required to even insure a home. Closer to the coast higher the requirement. Large steel ball at 90 mph cannot penetrate the home. 2x4 traveling at 170mph cannot penetrate the home. My windows, (been through 3 major hurricanes) come from a factory in Florida and the glass does not come from China
