Does it never occur to people how pathetic China's cultural output is compared to almost any other country? They have zero influence on anything... games, tv, films, literature. It's an incredibly obvious act of corruption and just one of many very similar projects with enormous unexplained costs. The hand picked private companies are funneling massive amounts of taxpayer money out of the treasury while the poltical class rolls around in brown paper envelopes and most people are too indoctrinated to even consider the fact that it isn't just "government waste" or "poor administration". I never want to hear about imaginary Chinese corruption as long as this continues happening in my own nation.
I mean it makes sense since they have zero intellectual property protections and live in a hardcore dictatorship.
