We could have come up with some kind of diplomatic solution where we work together with Iran to cover all of our bases, like some kind of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (2015), where Iran gives up 90% of its supply of enriched uranium to the united states in return for a reduction in sanctions and then agrees to yearly inspections by international teams to inspect their enrichment facilities and ensure that they don't have the capacity to enrich uranium beyond the 3% level used for nuclear power programs. I feel like that could have worked. If only some past, better president had negotiated such a deal and spared us from this mess.
