Canada torched its relationship with the US for nothing.

They are already dealing with the Muslims no need to add indians into it

Because those countries are controlled by USA

EU doesn't need Canadians. We get our jeets straight from the tap.

Wow I guess guess and minerals are falling from the sky on their own.
>>
>>545088883
It's more so about not setting a precedent for far away nations becoming practically full members or close to it, EU is still looking for avenues to increase bilateral trade with Canada.
>>
>>545088883
Why would we want to include Indias proxy in Schengen come on now don't be retarted
>>

Who cares we don’t want to join your shit club of faggot golems run by yankee kikes
You niggers are literally owned by Yankees through gladio and you will never be free
>>
>>545092228
It's a club meant for countries IN Europe, you start giving status like that to some nations across the world then who knows how people will try to leverage their strengths in the future, before long it's Taiwan in the club, India? Imagine India had open access to travel anywhere in Europe.
>>

Erm...we kind of already do anon.

What relationship?
The US was always in charge.
Canada is just a sucker.
Pic related shows that.
>>
>>545088883
Why would they ignore Canada? I thought the EU was set to decouple relations with the US and Russia. Having Canada in the EU would only benefit Europe and punish the US and UK.

Having Canada on your side is not a benefit.
We have nothing to offer anyone besides higher priced goods than what you already have.

I still fail to see what Canada stands to benefit from becoming an EU member.
Isn't the EU completely in the shitter?
They have no resources, no energy, no cloud capital.
They're gearing themselves up to throw their citizens into the Ukraine meatgrinder.

Not to mention culturally Canada has 0 in common with the continental euros despite the tenuous connection of 'french'. Modern Canadian culture is frankly far superior than continental European culture. Canada has more in common with the Brits and the Irish.

I guess the main benefit is that continental Europe still houses a decent amount of ethnic white human capital and I'm guessing the EU deal was nixed because the moment free travel is allowed between EU and Canada, 90% of whites would flee Europe for Canadian terra nova where they don't have to ration their energy in the winter.
>>
>>545088883
>ever closer
kek they're gonna fuck them in the ass like ukraine
>>
>>545088883
Kek there are active separatist movements in 2 provinces and when push comes to shove the vast majority of Canadians would prefer closer ties with America vs. Europe or others. This tomfoolery across the pond is starting to raise eyebrows at even the most liberal of newspapers.

You're from an empire that rivals the anglo. You would do well without the EU.

Canada already destroyed itself with immigrants so the liberal party can assure wins. Does the EU require more needy immigrants who require 100k a year to do nothing each? If no then why in gods name would they associate with Canada. We are across the water, very expensive to ship things that distance, and mentally retarded Canadians are telling me we need to stick it to Trump and the EU will give us money to bail us out. How would the EU benefit in giving canada money so they can give it to retarded Indian voter cattle?

I would not mind joining the USA but you have a big JEW & NIGGER INFESTATION PROBLEM.
Canada can start a NEW USA, only decent and rich people can move here, if you have more than 1 baby mama nogo. If you are on GIMMEDATS, no go. What need need are GHETTO STATES, I say take QUEBEC and make it a prison, and if you are released on parole you can only live there, if you try to go anywhere else, a STREET JUDGE WILL EXECUTE YOU ON THE SPOT.So all these WOKE judges can release them over and over but it will not make any difference because they cannot leave.

Jewish pilpul over the words “associate membership” that von der Layen proposed.

Here’s what matters:
>In the final version, the text reads: "We will create an even closer association between Canada and the EU... and work to define by the 2027 EU-Canada Summit the concept of an ever closer association of Canada to the EU, short of full membership itself."

The EU charter doesn’t allow full membership for any non-European nation, so that’s always been a non starter.

What we’re looking at is a free trade agreement as deep and fulsome as the old NAFTA agreement Canada had with US, before Trump killed it; European, not American, preference for rare earth sales and exports, greater energy, minerals, forestry, trade and few restrictions to EU goods; greatly expanded labour and travel, short of Schengen; integrated defence cooperation (such as Bombardier including in Airbus and aerospace alliances, and Canadian armoured vehicles, drone, ammo etc sales ), including Canadian spending, the Atlantic partner in NATO now that trumps a Russian shill; financing and central banking cooperation and coordination, particularly in moving away from US dollar dominance to mixed currency reserves, which has always been a Carney proposal (including using reserves as a stick against American unilateralism).

If America can’t get potash for their farms, rare earth for their tech and defence, grains and onions for their bread and feed, oil and gas for their dirty power plants that they’ve always depended on for half a century … that’s their problem. America had a free trade deal for that, and you fucked it up. American manufacturing didn’t move to Canada, it moved to China. Trump fucked around, America finds out.

The world isn’t going to sit around waiting for that idiot to get his shit together. No one needs the American government. It’s moving on, including America’s globalized industry

>the text reads: "We will create an even closer association between Canada and the EU... and work to define by the 2027 EU-Canada Summit the concept of an ever closer association of Canada to the EU, short of full membership itself."
They are dropping "associate member" tag because it's not really defined in this case. Instead the intension is the same but they are now using softer language about it

Canada also objected to the title. Joining the EU is politically unpopular here and Von der Leyen's sudden announcement about associate membership triggered a whole shit storm here that Carney spent weeks defusing.

In hindsight it seems like either Von der Leyen or her advisors came up with this idea unilaterally without consulting anyone else and then quietly dropped it when both sides said no. We're happy to trade and cooperate with Europe but we're not Europe and we don't belong in the EU. It seems silly to talk about new partnerships when the EU still won't ratify the trade agreement they signed years ago.

@grok is that true?

lol no.

The EU is a huge market for energy, rare earths and industrial metals.
Canada produces a lot of energy that we export to the US at a discount because it can't reach international markets.
Canada produces a lot of industrial metals that we export to the US at a discount while also bank rolling their own competing metal industries with cheap energy
Canada has a lot of rare earths that we don't extract, refine or sell because China undercuts us and the US, who is interested in our rare earths, wants us to foot the bill to develop the mines and then claim them as a "strategic supply line"

Europe is a major customer for all of these major industries, so securing that market gives us the stable demand that allows us to develop expensive export infrastructure that will help us diversify away from our current, bad deals with the US. Europe in the meanwhile needs new sources of energy to diversify from an increasingly hostile Russia and unstable Middle East, needs more industrial metals because their energy prices are too high to refine them at scale, and needs rare earths so they can diversify their electronics and technology sectors away from ab increasingly Faustian chinese monopoly.

It's a win-win partnership but it requires the fractious EU to present a united and consistent offer so that investing our money in the export infrastructure to serve their markets can make sense.

this "alliance of middle powers" pitch has always been silly, they will just get picked apart by major powers instantly because they don't have any unified goals or hierarchy, it's purely a pitch for realpolitik but cooperating with major powers will always be the pragmatic choice

who is supposed to block it? You are literally the only relevant party that could attack the seas between Canada and EU.
You think some sand people will go on boats all the way north to block it?
The only relevant piracy happens in front of the coast of said countries
>>
>>545103508
Yeah that’s my point. You really think the US is just going to allow Canada to ship rare earths to Europe? We know neither Canada nor you will do JACK shit about it because your countries are overrun with weak, effete, and cowardly faggots. Your response to Ukraine, a supposed existential threat is proof enough.

EU doesn't give a fuck about what the US has to say, especially Trump. I thought you retards would have noticed it by now. You clearly didn't pay any attention to the tariff wars.
