Why do people still talk of race when it was deemed obsolete many years ago? Furthermore, why are people reluctant to adopt this more useful language when it sets up a linguistic framework which allows criticism of cultural practices which are not worthy of modern humans.For example:A: circumcision is wrongB: you racistA: no. I am critical of cultural practices practiced by some cultures. Now please tell me why you do x, with reference to something other than holy books. B: you are just racistA: ok. please just tell me why you cannot mix dairy and chicken. B: you racistThe word racism and its historical connotations hinder social progress because it is an anachronistic frame and, unless it is actively challenged, we will continue to be trapped by this unhelpful and insidious superimposition. There will come a time when justice is restored and the great variety of human behaviours will be categorised according to their utilitarian utility anf beauty.A great reckoning will happen and the global heirarchy will be arranged in the most aesthetic way. This will involve the abandoning of much which is only coveted and valued still because of the inherent cultural narcissim of different cultural groups. I believe in the superiority of my cultural practices and am happy to defend them. However, the proper organisation of the world is neccesary for justice. For this to be achieved it is required that each ethnicity sees their shortcomings and makes the appropriate improvements. The present state of the world exemplifies the sorry state of the average human psyche, of the species. Before the superior can take their rightful place, the inferior need to learn to identify their inferiority so that they can identify their superiors as a source of education and guidance. All supremacists, of all ethnicities, would do well to be more active in teaching their inferiors the critical thinking apparatus required to recognise their supremacy. Otherwise, the inferior will continue to acquire positions of power and influence they are not worthy of and this will only lead to further corrosion of all that is good
