First to congratulate God Emperor LVLA, our greatest ally China and their leader Xi Jinping have expressed desire to expand Brazil-China relations even more.

Currently, China is already Brazil's main trading partner (somehow above Argentina, who is a drive away), and Brazil feeds 1/4 to half of China's food, as well as the raw materials the chinese use to produce their own food. We are their granary.

Thus, Brazil is given the rare privilege of emitting Panda Bonds (Brazil can issue debt in yuan rather than BRL or USD, and that debt is bought by the chinese financial market and institutions).

Will we finally get the promissed Brazil-Peru Sayuri Mattar Trans-Atlantic Railway? Will our drone factories get finalized? Will they give us a nuclear warhead to protect ourselves from the satanic pedophiles united groomers (USA)?

brazil is a failure, a shithole with only aging, debt, and irrelevance waiting in it's future, brazil and south africa share the same fate.
Every year that passes, brazilians get poorer in relation to nearly every other developing country, in the year 2000, the purchasing power of Vietnam and Russia were 2.6k and 10.5k vs 8.3k for brazil, today ? : 19k 52k 24k, in 2029 Paraguay surpasses brazil, by 2034 almost all ASEAN, Egypt and several others will do the same, brazil fell from 78th by purchasing power per capita in 2000 to 90 now, and by 2050, even India will overtake this shithole, as it is projected to fall below 115, joining the poorest countries in the world.

Since the commodities boom era ended, brazil has been worse than mediocre in every single metric : one of the worst when it comes to poverty reduction (Compared to Vietnam Indonesia/India Russia China etc... brazil is a complete failure) failed in wealth distribution (top 10 GINI/unequal countries) failed through deindustriallization, huge debt with nothing to show for it... not to mention the decline of the population starting by the end of the next decade, with very low automation, and productivity, the declining workforce and consumers will slow down the economy even more, less tax payers + more state spending = more taxes (in the country with the worst return of taxation, with some of the highest taxes in the world)

America must not allow Chinese control over any South American country.
It's their backyard!

I mean this post is essentially
>If America does not want us under Chinese control, then that makes it a GOOD thing
Like yeah, I get the logic. America obviously has ulterior motives. But that doesn't make China the good guys.

So, rather than USAID financing grooming rings, the chinese finance water treatment
stations, roads and ports?

Sign me in.

This country would be better managed by China than brazilians would ever be able to run it.

>>545094703
America is such a weird country. Why do they spend such ridiculous amounts of money promoting nonsense? If America were so great, spending taxpayer money to talk shit about China would be unecessary.

They could spend these billion dollars building infrastructure for poor countries, rather than financing grifters.

It is an empire of lies.

Portugal should be happy about us, though.

We are replacing you, unfortunately. I'd wholeheartedly support the expulsion of all brazilians in Portugal and seizure of their property. You'd only have to pay us 5 thousand dollars for each macaco, we'd gladly get them back. Many have college education, which means they might know how to make hard multiplications, tie shoelaces and not mug tourists.

The Transcontinental Sayuri Railway would make us into a superpower by 2040.

It'd also help to get Peru closer in the Brazil-China pact.

"Cry is free"
And probably the only thing still not taxed in this failed third world shithole.

brazil is a pathetic disgrace, unworthy of sharing a seat with China, which by the way, is currently working on reducing it's dependency on bostilian s-o-y (brazil main bargaining chip) https://globorural.globo.com/google/amp/agricultura/soja/noticia/2026/05/china-pode-reduzir-em-25percent-importacoes-de-soja-ate-2030.ghtml
Several countries have much greater resources wealth (Russia ~80 T Canada 33 T etc..) not to mention both ASEAN and Russia will be entering the agro market full force in the 2030s, pushing brazil out of it's comfortable position as a "farm".
While India sends probes to Mars, and plans it's own space station, brazil can't even send micro satellites !
While Vietnam exports over 100m $ in high-tech products, brazil, with double the population, doesn't export 1/10 of that, Vietnam inexorably getting more specialized and industrialized, while brazil increasingly "exports" whatever is left of it's industries to Paraguay.
While Russia develops its chips https://www.tomshardware.com/news/russia-aims-to-mass-produce-28nm-chips-by-2027-14nm-by-2030 supercomputers industries among several others, the industry share of the brazilian GDP fell from 28% in 2000, to less than 18% now, becoming a financialized country of banks, high interest rates, landowners, low wages and high living costs.
bostil is the worst performing bRICs country (aside from SA) by 2045 Turkey will surpass it by PPP GDP, several smaller countries will eclipse whatever influence it may still have.

Lula is a puppet of the oligarchic class of Brazil, and although a better choice than bolsonaro, his multipolarity only goes as far as the interests of his banker/landowner friends allow.
>>545094256
It's pathetic how even Africa, which got their independence just 50 years ago, amidst anticolonial wars, are starting to catch up to Latin America/Brazil, which had 200 years of independence, and long term stability. LA got left behind, and to this day, still can't even assert itself on it's own territory.

He isn't a puppet, put in simply his approach is more conservative over revolutionary. That's simply the person he is. Like a trade unionist that bargains with the company owner and gain rights for works he does something similar as a representative of the people who is able to negotiate with the elites and bring in tangible benefits for the people.
