Thousands of year of religious history, tradition, martyrdom, architecture, theology and exegesis.

All ripped about by a few glib remarks from a cheeky stand up comic.

This was why I had to give up religion, I couldn't bare it any longer, the mockery, the red faced humiliation as I tried, desperately to rationalise the scribblings of Bronze Age schizophrenics. The anguish. Unbearable.

Now I drift listlessly, burning the midnight oil on 4chan, hoping to find a shred of meaning. It's why we're all here, in this darkness.
