Something interesting I learned a while ago is that the guardrails are SUPER easy to strip out of any open weights model. You just give it a bunch of inputs that trigger the guardrails, a bunch that don't, see what neurons fire, and remove them. There are model providers that serve up no guardrails models at a premium price but I suspect that price Delta will come down it's so trivial.
