Not that it matters really because we have weapons contractors making loads of money and everyone involved strategically to support the war effort economically. To top it off, very few Americans died in this war so far. I may have to check to confirm the numbers but I think more Americans died in Israel’s war on Gaza than Americans killed by Iran. So the costs are low and even if they don’t accomplish their goals the people at the top all have deals making hundreds of millions of dollars each. Did you see that story about Jared Kushner having slush funds from the UAE? Everyone at the top is making lots of money and nobody even tries to hide it anymore.

There is a lot of money and partnership between certain factions in the middle east and people in the US and Israel.If Kushner was able to profit either way and stood to make even more money from a failure in peace talks. He would be more likely to report back that peace isn't an option and encourage using the department of war muscle. The success in Venezuela made MAGA high on its own supply and maybe thought that would help Iran fall in line. Things didn't work out.
