He digests a lot of info on world events and analyzes them with a unique but rational mindset (he calls it "game theory" but it's not that formal) and many, but not all, of the resulting observations he makes are pretty spot-on. He also thinks the moon landings were a hoax and that one of his sons is an alien spirit from another dimension. The "mad" in mad genius. He pulls in concepts from wild directions and makes unusual connections between them that, despite seeming pretty crazy, at least get you thinking. And as far as I can tell, his personal goal really is to just get people thinking for themselves, even if you totally disagree with everything he says. That alone is a good reason to watch his lectures.
