I actually don't care if a big roomy house is made of drywall. It's cheaper and more attainable.

In most cases McMansion hatred feels like jealousy. If it was made of brick/stone it'd be nicer but those exist for rich people, not upper middle class ones. Id love to be able to buy a McMansion.

mcmansion hate isnt necessarily about the materials, but rather about the tasteless, unaesthetic, asymmetrical, architectural designs, retarded roof lines, and big ugly entryways and garage car holes. and especially in development neighborhoods, they are all soulless cookie cutter clones.

The upper middle class are unbearable
>think they're higher status than they are and look down on anyone that isn't rich, but only if you're the right kind of rich
>downwardly mobile, their parents are wealthy and despite every advantage in the world they couldn't achieve an equal financial status to their parents
>carried by their parent's money their entire life
>the biggest dream in their life is their parent's death
>estranged from all their family, and they hate each other with a seething rage because they had a death match in the courts over inheritance
>the worst notorious nimbys in the world

I don't think you know what a McMansion is.
