deification of trump is the worst thing to happen to the maga movement.
the god-emperor bullshit, the 40k edits, etc. all contributed to a system where people simply took trump at his words rather than checking to see if his policies lined up with his promises.
eventually it stopped being about no more forever wars, taking corporate money out of politics and closing the border, etc. it just became about trump. whatever movement replaces maga needs to put policy above lionizing the person running.
