Yeah but why would I WANT government healthcare? Liberals say we should all have it... because we just should ok? But WHY would I want the government to run healthcare? Sounds like a terrible idea.
>>
>>545169453
It should be for "free" for people with bad cards
>>
>>545169453
Because it permits the left to run your life, and because they are a bunch of women whp cannot comprehend the idea of you existing separate from and without them
>>
>>545169453
You vote for government so you should let them do government. Do you not like being governed?

Your dormant stomach cancer is waking btw

So if you lose your job and you get sick you wont die or loose all your families wealth. And if the selfless help people doesnt sway you think of all the jews that will lose money and influence
>>
>>545169453
it's likely that you would get a comparable quality of care for a lower cost
>>
>>545169997
We already have safety nets like that. Why would I want to lose my healthcare which I like to get healthcare from the government?
>>
>>545169453
Nobody cares what you want

It’s called “having a choice”. It’s not MANDATED. If you like you’re existing plan you keep it.

Buuut you aren’t here for answers, you obese virgin.

3/10 for getting me to reply to a jeet/kike/bot. If bot you’ll never be human. If you’re actually human I hope you witness your mother get beat to death.

It is terrible. Regular people in those countries routinely die waiting for their appointments for life saving procedures that are months away. Rich people in those countries that have government run health care all either pay for private health care locally or a lot of them fly here to America because our healthcare is legitimately the best in the world.
>>
>>545169453
Government run healthcare means no conflict of interests when it comes to giving medicine. At least in theory. You wouldn't be denied a checkup because your insurance wants to make a prpfit off you.
In practice it is a cartel with the pharma and doctors unions. So you end up ultra paying for it and having doctors go on strike for higher pay. Then it becomes a voting issue and whoever gives more gets into office and we end up needing more taxpayers and then migrants....
>>
>>545170204
Their own plan's for "medicare for all" kicks you off your private insurance you retarded zoomer. Do you not even know what you're shilling for?
>>
>>545170264
Funny, we have both here. Whatever isn't covered by my private insurance is covered by public.
>>
>>545170264

Do you not know how to read a bill? Again. I hope your mother dies of a slow wasting cancer.
>>
>>545169539
it is free, they can't deny healthcare

the problem is that it's too expensive because over regulation led to monopoly consolidation, massive administrative overhead, pharmaceuticals all over the world get rich on selling drugs to USA... so USA is subsidizing all of the world drugs industry

which is why making it free (tax paid) is a very stupid idea.... just fix the underlying issues so it's AFFORDABLE........ NOT tax paid
>>
Here’s the problem. Whenever government takes my money to provide a service, I never qualify for the service and 90 percent of the money is wasted on malfeasance
>>
>>545169453
>But WHY would I want the government to run healthcare? Sounds like a terrible idea.
government healthcare just means the government pays for healthcare
>>
>>545169453
I don't see the issue in having both a government insurer and private insurers. If you can afford better then you can have it while others have an alternative to stick with. Companies will also have a baseline (the government) to compete with too.

>Yeah but why would I want a government space program?

Because things done by the government are done well when you take profit motive out of the equation.

Politicians and soldiers all get free government provided healthcare funded by your tax dollars. And for some magical reason thats good enough for them but not for you.
>>
>>545170802
if tomorrow the government said that instead of buying food with your credit card, you could buy food with your government food card meaning the bill would be paid for the government rather than by you, that wouldn't change anything about the functioning of the grocery store. It would just change who pays for it.
>>
>>545170891
>paid for the government
you keep saying that
>>
>>545170918
yes that's how it works

>smartest zoomer liberal on 4chan
a fucking leaf too
>>
>>545171027
what does that make you, a little baby alphoomer having a tantrum?
your current insurance coverage doesn't give you any different healthcare than if the government was paying for it. It's just more expensive for you.
>>
>>545169453
You can try like Switzerland, make health insurance mandatory and if you can't pay it the government pays what you can't, this does make for some fucko games with the private sector and government and personal debt does accumulate but they don't expect you to pay back everything, just a certain amount until you've proven you're stabilized in a normal job, some people just have it too harsh to try though and accept being government NEETs after they've spent all their savings. You'd also have to end such reckless migration or just make it very reduced, socialism can't survive care for the entire fucking third and developing world when they breed so much and don't offer much value, also why calling China communist is laughable when they've got such a dismal social welfare system, their elderly often just commit suicide(or go a on murder spree) over trying to scrounge for funds or their children to care for them.

You want to curtsy for some tyrannical little bureaucrat so you're heart stops dilating, don't you?

So FDR seized basically total power of our government for 15 years. He transformed all our systems to be more socialist. When it comes to healthcare, he decided to tie it to insurance, and tie insurance to work. So you get it through your employer, which means changing jobs becomes way more difficult. (Back then you could literally just walk into a place, shake hands, and be hired the next day)

Anyway the fundamental problem with insurance is called "the third party payer problem" in libertarian circles. When a third party is paying the customer doesn't care about price, so price surges out of control. You can see this yourself if you've ever gone to an autoshop, they quote you absurd prices because it's not you paying afterall...
So insurance inherently causes price inflation. But on top of that, the government is using the insurance system as a means of redistribution. By giving women lower rates at the expense of men, browns lower rates at the expense of whites....etc. It's essentially a massive socialist enterprise.

So now these insurance companies became massive lobbyists, because our government is hilariously corrupt. So they managed to set up a system of privatized profits, and socialized costs. Meaning the insurance companies get to make fortunes and whenever anything goes awry, it gets tacked on the national debt.
Obamacare put this into overdrive. Obama's clever idea was to make prices run out of control, so the system would collapse, and then you'd just have socialized medicine. Republicans version of healthcare was stopped by RINOs (aka democrats pretending to be republicans, like John McCain), but they managed to take some of the edge off with the individual mandate stuff.

Anyway everyone agrees that American healthcare is extremely superb, except when it comes to the cost side of things. Because America has this janky fucked up political system where money wins every time, and this is a big pot of money at stake. Everyone's grifting.
