but never blame him when they lose?https://x.com/ChrissieMayr/status/2115789297445986669
I thank Him when I lose too, for teaching me humility
>>545171681Prayer is a magic spell. Some spells work, some don't.

>>545171681To entertain your shitty 1pbtid slide thread, prayer isn't a wish fulfillment service. During the agony in the garden Jesus prayed to the Father asking to have His imminent crucifixion averted, and then He immediately followed it with "nevertheless, not my will but yours be done." It's never that our prayers go unanswered, it's that we need to make peace with the answers we receive regardless of whether or not we like them.
>>545171746Based.
>>545171843Then why bother praying?
>>545171681>but never blame him when they lose?
>>545171930There isn't any, from a monotheistic perspective. Any other answer is cope.
the dumbest goyim imaginable

>>545171930Talking to God is very therapeutic
>>545171681It's pious humility, demon.
>>545171930I didn't say that intercession never happens, I said that it isn't a magical wish fulfillment service where any wish you ask comes true 100% of the time. There is a fundamental undercurrent of submission to the will of God that we must have when praying. Prayer is first and above all else the worship/adoration of God, and only secondary is our petition for intercession, and within this latter aspect we must fully surrender to God's ultimate will. Praying for a new lambo or whatever other fleeting material bullshit completely misses the point of prayer because we are meant to struggle against wordly material pursuits. Praying that your dad beats his battle with cancer and then getting mad at God when he passes away also does, because death was abolished forever 2,000 years ago and is completely meaningless to us in the best way possible, and we can live in absolute confidence that you will be reunited in eternity at the hour of your own physical body's death, and that God only deemed it that it was his time to come home rather than continuing to live.
