As a Texan, he's definitely going to win. Texas Republicans really did their best to win this election. Every small town in the state now has fifty data centers being built there with all their bills going up commensurately while every politician has given themselves a bonus with the higher taxes. I have never seen a party that was teetering at the 51% majority and threatening to get kicked out speedrun their own failure harder.

People want Texas to be this conservative cowboy state full of freedom and guns and few regulations. But most of the major cities are Democrat strongholds, the state is incredibly brown, and the natural landscape doesn't even seem that nice.
