AI is literally the only way out of avoiding the competency crisis
>>
>>545172570
i dont mind it. let vooters suffer for what they've allowed
>>
>>545172570
AI generated those army men
>>
do kids even still play with army men?
>>
>>545172570
Couldn't we just pay more?
>>
>>545172570
What is the price of each of those army men relative to purchasing power?

You can still get detailed model soldiers if you're willing to pay extra. I suspect the price in real terms hasn't changed for quality toys.
>>
I guarantee there are some high-quality army men out there. Just don’t buy the cheap Chinese, dollar store shit
>>
>>545172570
>competency crisis
(((Business))) is to blame for the lower quality. the things that make those are automated machines. boomers are dumb as rocks, fuuuuucccckkkk
>>
>>545173009
>>545173008
Retards, the cheap ones used to also be high quality.
>>
>>545172996
Of course you can. What kind of question is this?
>>
>>545173036
Ok. Show me evidence.
>>
>>545172570
Wrong. The originLs were handcrafted and made in America. AI slop would only lead to it's continual decline. It's the human factor that imbues it with soul.

>competency crisis is when jews cut costs for their goyim toys

>open the doors for unlimited duty free imports from countries with no labor or environmental regulations
>tax the shit out of american manufacturers and make it impossible to run a business with all of the constantly changing regulations
>hurr durr just dont buy the cheap one!

Have these niggers just been using the same moulds for 60 years?
>>
>>545173059
Its the OP picture. Dude what the fuck is wrong with your brain? The thread is based off of the evidence of older army men being better quality
>>
>>545173277
Which ones are the cheap ones nigger? I see no price tag
>>
>>545173277
those army figures were generated by AI, asshole
>>
>>545173008
they're not models you fucking weeb they're toys to set up battle scenes, you dump 'em in a bucket shaped like an ammo can after you're done playing and shove it under your TV stand.

The op picture is fake ai slop. Is everyone here retarded? There was no evidence presented.
>>
>>545173036
>the cheap ones used to also be high quality.
The cheap ones back actually cost about 10x what the cheap ones do today.
In the '60s, the green plastic soldiers cost about $0.01 each in bulk, with a bag going for $0.25 to $1.00 or so depending on the size.
I feel confident you could probably find a comparable sized set at a dollar store today for a dollar or so. So slightly more expensive in price. But that also means they cost about 1/10th the price as they did back then when you adjust for inflation.
>>
That's just min-maxing for profit
>>
>>545173505
That's a good point actually. This could be utterly and entirely fake.
>>
>>545172570
The competency crisis exists only because of computers and AI

my entire life is a competency crisis
>>
>>545175430
Don't you eurofags get that this is about our feelings that things were better in the 60s? We don't need evidence. Consider everything here a visual aid. Be smart. Don't just act like it.
>>
AI has fed me more than one dogshit recipe where the ingredients couldn't physically fit in the tin called for by the recipe
>>
the best part about being a grugfag in AI times is watching people talk about all the retarded bullshit it gives them
like, yeah nigga, you hit the middle button on autocomplete until you got a sentence. why would you expect it to be coherent?
>>
>>545172994
i used to buy the big bags and burn them
>>
>>545172570
They've been using the same plastic tooling since the 1960s, it's no wonder they look like shit now, the tooling is completely worn the fuck out. Same thing happened to Unicomp making original Model M keyboards, they only just recently switched to new tooling.
