I started a new job once - big international group of staff at a company working in international travel. We had people from all over the world. On any one day I'd be enjoying the company of people from about 15/20 different nations. First day, a South American warned me>You see him? This North African? He is very strange, stay away from him. British people are, on the whole, quite welcoming; and this can be both good and bad. I took what the south American said and ignored it. I was naive enough to consider his words to be a third world mentality. Ultimately, the north African - the devout Muslim - turned out to be a massive cunt. For many reasons, both personally and related to his ideology. At lunch, there would be Meds, Slavs, Brits, Latin Americans - even a Canadian - all mixing but he would segregate himself along with the other Muslims whilst they sneered at us. Eventually, the north African was fired for his behaviour. A Pakistani would later join an adjacent department and he was a cocky little cunt too. This was many years ago and it was my first experience with such types. I never once had a problem with any other demographic.
