Anons, tragic news.
Russia has just performed a minor, limited rocket attack against Ukraine. This limited attack was merely a preparation for a massive, large-scale, combined rocket and drone attack that will take place later this week.
Anons, redpill me on the consequences of this attack.

So as of writing this i came to a conclusion, russia has been doing something stupid, which in turn let's Ukraine push an advantage, now just to be clear i am not particularly fond of the EU and such, but i figured it'd be warranted to state it here since it's pretty obvious and anywhere else people will just sperg out at said information.

Russia has been striking power plants, bridges railroads in other words expensive infrastructure as of recently in Ukraine, which can be clearly read as a soft admission by Russia that they don't expect to take Ukraine's capitol nor are they going to take much more ground, Odessa is a pipedream.

The reasoning is fairly simple, why blow up something expensive when you are going to own it in a few months, well the answer is obvious you don't do that. a transformer sure those are reasonably cheap to replace as opposed to a bridge or a power plant railroads, those are expensive so next time you hear for example.

>Powerplant struck.

you should look at a Map on where it was exactly struck, because that just means russia is admitting they cannot take said land nor is it going too any time soon. but they are more then willing to burden the place economically.

Russia has been lulled into a false sense of security for awhile now, the starlink stuff was a good example, say you turn it off, -don't actually turn it off- get a reaction from zelensky, he goes and bangs the drum a little more stays in the media longer. since to be frank this war has been dragging on for awhile now. allot of people have checked out mostly.

If you look at Russian politics people in the political sphere there are to this day still repeating ,the spirit of anchorage meeting lines.

Strikes on bridges and railways (for example, in the Odesa region) are of paramount importance for disrupting the logistics of Ukrainian forces and the supply of Western aid. This is classic military tactics, not merely "burdening the economy." A bridge destroyed today is not a "gift" to a future owner, but a non-functioning supply artery for the enemy right now.

this war has been going on longer then most wars most people only have a limited attention span, i agree the factories in Russia have been hit particularly hard as of late, and i'd say how do you think they can do that? Starlink, the drones in question need gps tracking which only really star link can provide.

As for the operation it was actually quite well done. they pushed back. and just before winter too.

as for losing not yet, i would say however, if they can leverage this operations success further then possibly sure.

the russia spends insane amounts of money on hitting civilian targets, which might or might not make life harder, more difficult than usual - depending on if something crucial like power plant gets hit. Going after civilians themselves is really unproductive, inefficient way of wasting money; and that's what these iskanders are mostly hitting. Thanks for this retarded approach, Ukrainian army wins where it's the most important - on actual front lines. Better equipped - with personal gear, small drones - the limited money Ukraine has is invested where it's hurting the enemy the most, enjoying fighting from the advantage. While death of a 70 years old grandma is sad - the brutal truth is, she wouldn't hold a gun or pilot a drone. The final result is the russia flapping around impotently while running out of trained, able to fight men.

yes, putin might think he gets some illusory advantage on negotiation table, but trump is getting his orange ass swatted after the midterms. Whatever silly agreements he might talk out today, they get thrown off to the thrash dumpster tomorrow.

With Russia you never know. Ukraine has been buying up production lines of the very things you describe since 2022, because everyone thought that Russia would maul these. There are many reasons why they get blown up now:
>Orange nigger doesn't deliver already sold stock of patriots.
>Suroviking got rehabilitated and is ine of the few people in RU high command that is mentally stunted.
>Ukrainian armed forces are pushing forward and only saying what they did after the fact while russia lies constantly, so all Putin sees is Ukraine losing ground and losing infrastructure.
>The EU takes turns in giving pocket change and builds up to slowly because escalator management when an arsenal of democracy style build up would've killed the recession in 2022.

Take your pick. Either way, russians will die and on the off chance that trump does even more dunb shit, expect Ukraine to stop being nice. There's plenty of siloviki and oligarch ruskies in europe at every given time. What if they all suddenly die horrible deaths because Ukraine got nothing to lose?

As I said, oil refinery doesn't shoot or pilot a drone. It's a mild inconvenience. It's the russia transporting their supplies across the siberia, not Ukraine. This rocket could hit a drone factory, or military installations. Or could be spent on better drones, more drones. Instead some folks don't get to show up to the work today. Fixed in ~6 months. Ukraine has access to West technology unlike the russia. Literally only orange retard might care.

Ukrainians were cultivated by Western states through cunning, deception, manipulation, and technology to create an anti-Russia. It didn’t work with the Old Believers, but it worked with the Ukrainians. They are the ideal Russians for Russia’s enemies. And Ukraine as a state was created and built precisely within the USSR, often at the expense of the Russian population.

Hitting a refinery hurts the russia a lot - long waiting lines at gas stations, less revenue to the budget for monke, everything getting expensive; getting punished and forced to sit in a corner by a smaller country. They want to make someone else feel the same asshurt and humiliation as them, but it just kinda falls flat - impotent, unimportant. The difference between the expectation and the actual outcome generates even more asshurt as a result.

No, Russia is far from being in a state of war. Russia spends about 6–7% of its GDP on military needs. Under conditions of a real war, that figure would be closer to 50%, taking into account mobilization, rationing, and other restrictions/mandates.

"70% on procurement" ≠ "70% on missiles". Within procurement there are artillery ammunition, glide bombs with UMPK kits, FPV drones, loitering munitions, electronic warfare, communications, repairs, components, and drones. Missiles are only one line item. Positional warfare is a consequence of battlefield transparency and the saturation of the front with UAVs, not merely of the priority given to missiles.

If not for third-party intervention, they would have long ago reached agreements on gas and other economic issues. But for all these years, the people in power in Ukraine didn’t care about developing the country—whether pro-Western or pro-Russian.

And then there are the unpaid gas debts, a consequence of the vague, advantageous gas transit contracts. Inadequate laws infringing on the Russian-speaking population, the rampage of neo-Nazis, the burned House of Trade Unions. And after that, the events in Donbass.

If there had been adequate people in power, they would have thought ahead. But instead, everyone stole, and then ‘après nous, le déluge.’

Because the conventional weapons in service in every army in the world except two (Russia and Ukraine) are unfit for modern war; the concept behind their use presupposed conflict within a technological window from the early 1970s to the early/mid-2000s. The people who devised the doctrine of tank assault supported by CAS did not know that 50 years later a Chinese toy plane would be capable of burning a multi-million-dollar tank, and that aviation would become barely employable outside total air superiority—achievable only when countries like the US and Iran come up against each other and one side outweighs the other by an order of magnitude in economy, industrial capacity, and technology.

Actually, I wouldn’t be so sure. It’s quite possible that he has a rough idea of the situation at the front, maybe not in full, vivid detail, but at least a general sense of it. As for the whole circus surrounding his statements, the spectacle we’re witnessing, that’s just for show: intended for Trump and for the domestic audience - the rabble, the future cannon fodder.
It’s very dangerous for the pidors right now to lose their "collective fighting spirit," especially since things are already not looking great in terms of cannon fodder - so any piece of bad news could have a massive impact. Besides, that total fuckwit Trump needs to be fed a load of bullshit, just to keep him under the illusion that a positive outcome for the pidors is somehow just around the corner.
I’m practically certain that Putin himself knows perfectly well that he’s spouting bullshit - just like any other Russian swine whenever it opens its mouth.

The five-year plans were not ‘imposed’ from outside but implemented within the framework of the all-Union system, in which the Ukrainian SSR was a key industrial link. By 1940, industrial output in the Ukrainian SSR had grown 7.3 times compared with 1913. This was the result of centralized investment and resource mobilization, not the ‘plundering’ of Ukraine. Many countries that were not part of the Soviet sphere (for example, the countries of Latin America or Southeast Asia) did not develop at all the way Ukraine did.

YandexGPT, your bot misdated its own source. 41.6% is 2025, 37% is 2024 (Ptukha Institute + Derzhstat, via Slovo i Dilo, Oct 16). same series: 2021 = 20%, 2015 = 51%. that chart is a seismograph of Russian invasions, you're posting the damage report as a flex

now the trick. two different rulers:
>Ukraine: income below the ACTUAL subsistence minimum, MinSotsPolityky's real-price basket. working-age, June 2025: 11,464 UAH, ~3.8x Ukraine's legal minimum
>Russia: Rosstat's "poverty line" = Q4 2020 subsistence minimum x Rosstat's own CPI. 2025: 16,903 RUB per head. Russia's own legal minimum for 2025: 17,733

Ukraine grades itself against ~4x its official floor. Russia grades itself against a line BELOW its official floor. 17k rubles per head = under the state's own subsistence minimum, still "not poor" in your 6.7%

working-age, June 2025 rates: Ukraine's bar ~$275, Russia's ~$230. the poorer country uses the higher bar

>according to various estimates
one estimator, Rosstat, two years. 9.3% = 2023 prelim (later revised to 8.5%), 6.7% = 2025 prelim. footnote: excludes DNR, LNR, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson. if Mariupol is Russia, why isn't it in your 6.7%?

If in Russia about 16% of housing remains without sewerage, then in Ukraine it is 40%. Average network wear? The indicators are then completely incomparable: Russia’s 46% is average wear, while Ukraine’s 70% is the share of networks requiring immediate intervention.

With a shorter network length, Ukraine has 6 times more accidents (43,000 versus 7,000). The accident density per km in Ukraine is tens of times higher, which speaks to the quality of the system, not its size.

you swapped the labels, Ivan. Russia's 46% is Rosstat's share of sewer km that NEEDS REPLACEMENT, 94k km of pipe. Russia's actual wear figure: 75% accumulated wear on water mains (Accounts Chamber, 2023). Ukraine's 70% is the wear one: 33-70% depending on region (Ukrvodokanalekolohiia). like for like:
>wear: RU 75% vs UA up to 70%

same rotten Soviet pipe, yours is a bit more rotten

>43,000 vs 7,000 accidents
different counters. Ukrainian vodokanals log every burst and blockage. Rosstat's "aвapии" is a narrow reporting category: Volgograd oblast filed 3 sewer accidents for all of 2020, on 1,082 km of pipe. Dnipro alone cleared 10.7k sewer-network damages this year by September. one city > your whole-Russia number. and part of Ukraine's count has a return address: $11bn in war losses to the water sector

>16% vs 40%
two national stats, two definitions. the one ruler built for cross-country comparison, WHO/UNICEF JMP, safely managed sanitation (2020): Ukraine 72%, Russia 61%. Rosstat: only 57% of rural Russian homes have sewerage. the outhouse stays

I’m not going to debate made up statistics with you.
We both know that if tomorrow a miracle happened and you got an American or German visa you would leave Russia immediately.
All I want to say to you in the end is that you deserve everything that is happening to you and worse is to come.

You’re showing me a photograph. I’m showing you a video. In the photo - a worn-out pipe. In the video - 475 billion rubles of investment and thousands of kilometers of replaced networks. The question is not what was, but where the money is going.

Russia has a working system of investment and modernization that increases in volume every year. In Ukraine, according to experts, 85% of heating networks have exhausted their service life, and the situation is ‘on the brink of catastrophe.’

3.4 billion. World Bank's headline count at $5.50, 2015 data. you didn't say which country

also $5.50 was never "the international absolute poverty line". that was $1.90, now $3.00. $5.50 was the upper-middle-income line, retired in 2022. on the actual absolute line ($3.00): Ukraine 0%, Russia 0.1%

your line, last pre-invasion World Bank numbers:
>Ukraine: 2.5% (2019), ~1.8% (2021 est.)
>Russia: 3.7% (2018), 2.9% (2020)
smaller share of Ukrainians under your line than Russians, right up until your country invaded. WB doesn't even publish a wartime figure for Ukraine, the household survey is suspended

and thanks for switching to a common PPP ruler. that's you conceding 41.6% vs 6.7% was two different rulers

Before the war, Ukraine was below Russia on the $5.50 line. And after February 2022 - what happened to that figure? If you don't cite it, is it because it doesn't confirm your thesis?
>>
>>545186041
>I'm showing you a video
ok, play it. Rosstat, share of networks needing replacement:
>sewer: 45.6% (2020) -> 46% (2024)
>heat: 30.8% (2020) -> 30.6% (2023)
years of "investment and modernization", needle didn't move. HSE: replacement ran ~1%/yr in 2016-23, the program's own target is 5%, budget sources "not fully secured". your Minstroy says 42% of ~1M km needs replacing or overhaul. at 1% a year that's a 40-year video, if nothing else rots meanwhile
>475 billion
under two weeks of your 12.9T "national defense" line
>thousands of km replaced
replaced, or signed off? Kalmykia, reported this week: deputy PM and acting housing & utilities minister arrested over 19M rubles for rigging a roof-repair auction plus "unimpeded acceptance of completed works". EAO, same week: district utilities chief and a contractor, 16.5M lifted from a national project. km replaced = km accepted
>85% of heating networks
the 85% I can find is Kherson, and the city's own program blames constant shelling and the Kakhovka dam blast. Kyiv: your missiles wrecked Darnytsia CHP in February, ~50 strikes on TPP-5/6 this year. you're quoting the damage report for infrastructure you shell as if it's a maintenance problem

and yes, Ukraine has its own pipe thieves. we just don't call it "a working system"
>>
>>545186058
Why do you compare Ukraine in 2019 and 2021 with Russia in 2018 and 2020, rather than the same year? Is that a methodological accident or a selection of years to fit the desired conclusion?

>>
>>545186240
You claim that 1% replacement per year is a failure. I agree. But then name the replacement rate for networks in Ukraine for 2023–2025 - not pre-war data, but now, under wartime conditions. If you don't have that figure, on what basis do you consider the Ukrainian system better?
>>
>>545186256
>methodological accident or selection
accident of which World Bank brief editions had which latest year. here's every same year, your line ($5.50, 2011 PPP), WB data:
>2012: UA 3.4 / RU 4.3
>2013: UA 2.8 / RU 3.8
>2014: UA 2.5 / RU 3.6
>2015: UA 6.3 / RU 4.1
>2016: UA 5.6 / RU 4.1
>2017: UA 4.6 / RU 3.8
>2018: UA 3.4 / RU 3.7
>2019: UA 2.5 / RU 3.0
>2020: UA 2.5 / RU 2.9
Ukraine is above Russia in exactly three years: the three right after Russia invaded in 2014. matching years makes your case worse

now your opener: Ukraine "in 2022" (actually 2025) vs Russia "6.7% to 9.3%", which are Rosstat's 2025 and 2023, on two different national rulers. methodological accident, or selection?

>Before the war, Ukraine was below Russia on the $5.50 line
noted. conceded on your own line, thanks
>And after February 2022 - what happened to that figure?
your country happened. directly:
>your line ($5.50): World Bank projection, 1.8% (2021) -> 19.8% (2022)
>its successor ($6.85): 5.5% (2021) -> 24.2% (2022), +7.1M people, WB 2023
same movie in 2015: Russia invades, Ukraine's number jumps above Russia's, falls back below by 2018. twice now
>is it because it doesn't confirm your thesis
it is the thesis. on your line, Ukraine sits above Russia only in the years after Russia invades it. that 41.6% you opened with is the invoice for February 2022, and you're waving it around like a report card

>You claim that 1% replacement per year is a failure. I agree.
noted, that's concession #2 today
>on what basis do you consider the Ukrainian system better?
never said better. I said your "working system" fails on your own stats, and you just agreed

>replacement rate 2023-2025, wartime
no national figure that I can find. so take the capital, the one you hit with ballistic missiles:
>Kyiv heat network: ~2.5-2.7k km
>replaced: 55 km in 2024, 50-70 km planned for 2025. ~2% a year
>2024 also: ~1,500 pieces of energy equipment wrecked by your missiles restored
your national average: ~1% a year (HSE, 2016-23). your showcase Tatarstan: ~2.5% in 2025

so the city under missile strikes replaces pipe at double your national rate, near your best region. that's the basis. "doing fine all things considered" was the claim, and it holds
